Health does not regenerate automatically in MyZ. Instead, players can regain a half-heart by eating, using a bandage (by right clicking with one), or being healed by other players.

The healing process is as follows:

• Left click a player with a bandage to begin.
• Left click the same player with ointment, antiseptic or medicine to add its effect to the heal process.
• Left click the same player with scissors to cut the bandage and finalize the healing.

If the healing isn't completed within 15 seconds, it must be restarted. Once a heal has been completed successfully, the healee must wait five minutes (configurable) until they can be healed again.

The addition of both ointment and antiseptic has the same end-result of adding medicine. On its own, ointment extends the regeneration effect and absorption effect granted by healing. Antiseptic has the potential to cure the player's infection.
