Initial Setup

MyZ is built to require as few external dependencies as possible. In time, what few dependencies MyZ has will likely become built into the MyZ jar. However, before launching MyZ, you must sure you have installed all the dependencies. Dependencies can be found here. Without installing these plugins, MyZ will not run.

Once installing all the dependencies, start up your server. It must also be noted that MyZ is not compatible with every version of Craftbukkit/other alternatives. If the server is deemed to be unsupported, MyZ will not enable.

If your server is supported, however, MyZ will run initial setup routines. This will generate a number of configuration files that can be modified to your heart's content. Help with these files can be found here.

MyZ is set up with default configuration values that have been tested and balanced to suit its intended gameplay. However, there is one value that must be checked before MyZ play can be ensured...

Open up /plugins/MyZ/config.yml and find the entry marked worlds. This entry is of type list and represents the worlds in which MyZ is enabled on. By default, you will see it initialized as worlds: - world This means that MyZ is enabled on a world named 'world', and that's it. If, for example, you wanted to enable MyZ on the worlds 'MyZ One' and 'MyZ Two', you would set the value to the following: worlds: - MyZ One - MyZ Two

You will see more list type entries in the configuration entries to follow, so keep this in mind as you continue to make modifications to your game.

At this point, MyZ will be fully functioning. There are, however, further setup options for the interested server owner. Continue to commands and permissions to further enhance your gameplay.
