Overview

Fast Survival is a Minecraft plugin that accelerates repetitive tasks like mining or killing wither skeletons while introducing new challenges through additional mobs, dimensions, and structures. It adds advanced bows and gives skeletons a chance to wield them. A highlight feature is the new Minecraft moon dimension!

🚀 Quick Start

⚡ Installation

  1. Download the latest version from the Files tab above
  2. Place FastSurvival.jar in your server's /plugins/ folder
  3. Restart your server
  4. Configuration file will be generated at /plugins/FastSurvival/config.yml

Requirements: Minecraft 1.21.11+ | Bukkit/Spigit/Paper | No dependencies needed

Build a teleporter or use the /moon command to access a complete new dimension!

  • Low gravity environment with jump boost

  • Require redstone for automatic tools: AutomaticToolsRequireRedstone=true

Extensive customization options available in the yaml file!

Automatic Tools

Tools with enhanced automatic effects include:

  • Pickaxe: Intelligent tunneling (3x3 or 1x2), automatic torch placement every 8 blocks, smart material detection that ignores dirt/gravel unless targeted, and treasure location indicators
  • Shovel/Spade: Area excavation (3x3), torch placement, clay and gravel detection for efficient resource gathering
  • Axe: Instant tree felling that harvests all connected logs, optional automatic sapling planting, and enhanced damage against wooden structures

Optional recipe mode: tool + (1) redstone (Enable with AutomaticToolsRequireRedstone=true)

Advanced Bows

Introduces tiered bows with unique properties and corresponding armor sets. View crafting recipes

  • Flame Bow: Sets targets on fire with enhanced damage over time
  • Ice Bow: Freezes enemies and temporarily creates ice bridges over water
  • Lightning Bow: Chance to strike lightning on impact, devastating against groups
  • Explosive Bow: Creates controlled explosions that damage enemies but not terrain
  • Teleport Bow: Instantly teleports player to arrow impact location

Use /b command to get all bows in creative mode.

  • Create multiple teleport points throughout your world
  • Cross-dimensional teleportation supported
  • Configurable cooldown system to balance gameplay

Enhanced Mobs

Mob Type Enhancements
Skeletons 10% chance to wield advanced bows with special effects, improved AI that uses cover effectively, enhanced drops including rare bow fragments
Spider Jockeys Increased spawn rate (configurable), Speed II effect, improved jumping ability, occasional web-shooting attacks
Zombies Food poisoning effects on hit (15s duration), rare knockback sticks, improved gear including enchanted weapons and armor
Creepers 15% chance of charged variants with Speed II, larger explosion radius, improved stealth mechanics
Endermen Can steal items directly from player inventory on hit, enhanced teleportation range, rare water-immune variants
Nether Mobs Pigmen drops include gold nuggets (100%) and ingots (15%), wither skeletons have 25% higher coal and skull drop rates

New Overworld Structures

  • Hot Air Balloons: Floating structures with chests containing rare items, unique building materials, and occasional villager traders
  • Graveyards: Zombie/skeleton spawners with hidden underground chambers holding special loot and unique headstone designs
  • Underground Nether Cages: Rare nether-themed dungeons with lava traps, blaze spawners, and nether material deposits
  • King Skeleton Trees: Giant trees with multiple skeleton spawners, special boss variants with unique drops, and hidden treasure chambers

The Moon

Access via /moon command or moon teleporter in survival. Learn more here

Key Moon Features:

  • Unique Environment: Low gravity effect (jump boost), oxygen management system, special moon-exclusive materials
  • Resource Rich: Craters and meteorites containing valuable resources not found in the overworld
  • Special Mechanics: Water and lava behave differently, only redstone lamps prevent monster spawning
  • Lunar Zombies: Moon-adapted hostile mobs with enhanced abilities and unique drops

Moon Structures

  • The Death Hole: Multi-level dungeon with themed challenge rooms, each containing different mob spawners, traps, and puzzles leading to valuable rewards
  • The Magic Tree: Giant birch structure housing the Moon's skeleton king boss. Features a three-stage battle where the boss changes tactics as its health decreases. The color-changing armor indicates remaining health, and it's only vulnerable to melee attacks.
  • Light Bulb: Mysterious structures with two variants (friendly/hostile) that affect the surrounding environment in different ways
  • Craters: Impact sites with moon-exclusive materials and the only source of liquid water and lava on the moon. Meteorites are 1/3 the size of craters with random "richness" of resources.

Build a custom teleporter with these requirements:

  • Stone button for activation
  • Minimum 8 iron blocks, 4 iron fences, and 2 wooden buttons
  • Energy requirement: 730 + (players * 200)

Different blocks provide varying energy amounts (e.g., diamond blocks: 150, glowstone: 50). View example portals

The Sky

Currently accessible using /sky in creative mode. Future updates will add survival mode access with floating islands, exclusive mobs, and vertical exploration challenges.
