I am testing this new page out. I am aware of some parts that are missing such as ship types, but please say if there is anything that you wish to see. I plan on making a FAQ's that includes common questions such as how to change ship requirements.

Ships 6 changes
Ships has gone through many changes, Ships 6 is the latest rewrite of the plugin. The latest rewrite fixes multiple bugs found in the root of previous versions of Ships.
Features
Moving ships
As the name of the plugin suggests, you can create your own ship and move it with just a single click.
Works with all blocks
There is a fully-fledged list where you can configure every block to react differently for the ships, including being able to add a block type to interact with Ships, detect it as a collide, and even not react at all.
Teleport to ships
There have been many requests to be able to teleport to ships for not only this plugin but others like it. This feature has been added to Ships, however, if it is something you do not wish, then you can disable to command by not adding the command.
Falling Ships
Ships will fall/sink if requirements are not met, this could be done through your own interaction such as running out of fuel, or by something else such as a TNT explosion.

Move the ship:
In Ships, movement is done by signs. You can see all signs here
Collide types:
| Name | ID | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Detect collide | DETECT_COLLIDE | If Ships detects this block in the way of a ship moving then the ship will not move with the error of this block being in the way |
| Material | MATERIAL | Material means that you can build a ship out of this block and the Ships block detection system will detect it as part of your ship |
| Ignore | IGNORE | If Ships detects this block in the way of a ship moving then the block will break and the ship will take its place |

Posted Aug 4, 2013Hi, I just upgraded to the newest ships version and whenever I try to make the main [ships] sign it says "Do not have permission for this action". I'm owner, plus op. I even added the permission ships.* to myself. The [wheel] and everything else works perfectly fine though.

To make a burner, you simply place a netherrack down somewhere ATTACHED to the ship. From there, you light it and it should work. Make sure that nothing flammable is near your burner or your ship will burn down.

Posted Aug 2, 2013A few bugs in 3.1.7
1. Chests are still bugged. Any chest in the axis of an engine sign will crash my client. Turning ships with double chests crashes my client. Willing to post more crash reports but honestly that's the problem.
2. A wheel sign in the axis of an engine sign causes the engine sign to turn the ship.
3. Ship furnaces duplicate items attached to them, like torches and signs.
4. The beacon effect resets when moving the ship.

Posted Aug 2, 2013Tip for anyone that wants to put a chest on their ship; Use a donkey and a lead! Also I was wondering if the developer is working on the Submarines feature yet? Me and my buddies have been excited for it for quite some time :D

marsships do work, they have for some time (i do know about the problem where they only work between 6-7, the in game time)
i have herd that mobs are carried on ships (i have never tested this, and i can not until i get back to Britten.
Chest have worked properly for a while, ever since 3.0 (i have not been able to test the latest copy of this plugin)

Posted Aug 1, 2013Hey! Ok so i believe that i have posted this before, but i want to make sure this is heard! Ok so firstly i would like to suggest that you do your best to get chests to work and maintain the items in them rather than popping them out every movement... secondly i would like to suggest that you make it possible to hold mobs on board, because they might be needed for a long voyage! Over all though i absolutely love this mod, and the new mars ships will be absolutely fantastic for me to implement into this game! I cant wait to try one out, good luck, keep up the good work, and get back to me asap! Awesome plugin!

Posted Aug 1, 2013Hello I seem to be having a lot of problems trying to run this plugin in 1.6.2 When I down grade to 1.5.2 using 3.1.7 build of ships it doesn't load but when I down grade to 1.5.2 it works so could you update this plugin to run with 1.6.2 . Thanks for you time.

Posted Jul 30, 2013hello im using you plugin on a server and its very good except there seems to be a issue with ships over 600 blocks where they will only work for 5 secs on the initial server reloads or restarts i dont think anything is wrong on the server since we run 10gb ram no lag and boats dont seem to cause any sever lag whatsoever its very fun and interesting thx for that but also the last thing was there does seem to be player side crashes when the boat turns sometimes but ive heard it can be because of double chests within the ships except it only seems to work when i turn a specific direction whereas the other should have crashed it to i would like to know why that may be and also what can i do to solve the 600 block + ship issue besides making a smaller ship because this ship is very nice in its architecture and so on thatnks for you time and good luck.

Posted Jul 30, 2013I think the type of ship speed of some of the many want. I want to use features of the only ship, but I is inconvenient for speed. And, I would like you to fix the problem that overlap due to collision of each ship.

Posted Jul 29, 2013Listen up, little misunderstanding. The "Week server" for a long time does not work, perhaps from version 2.2. It was a configuration code and appears in settins but does nothing. I removed it because there were a lot of questions that detects a collision, etc.
I looked through the code and I removed.
As for the lag and the size of vessels:
If you have a terribly weak server is no option will not help you. Ships got on my notebook with intel atom and five people had used ships without major problems.If you want to build ships instead of 100000000000000000 blocks that you have to select a different plugin because it has technical limitations. Ships are mapped for the help of a recursive function so that you can add when you move or delete / destroy the ship new bloks, etc.

... ok ... see if the error is there when you use ships 3.1.7 (not out yet, but said to be the latest) if the error is there then, its something to look at
