Residence


About
Residence is different from most protection plugins in that it aims for the users to be able to protect their own homes without having to bother the admin to do it. Residence has support for a variety of different protection types including preventing movement through areas, all of which can be configured by the land owner, and limited by the admin.

- Dynmap Residence - Dynmap plugin that shows residences on the webmap.

What delay? I am only looking to lower the lag some more. The newest update of CraftBukkit seem to fix lag. but the system is lagging people out..then everyone times out. but the game is still running.

Because the area is really big, as it was supposed to be a public safezone. But the monsters keep on spawning even in the center of the Area. I can see this because I'm hovering over it, and using WorldEdit's Butcher command is seeing them respawn in the area. Even though the monster flag is set to false.

Everythings cuboid you can add other "Squares" to an existing one to achieve L shapes and stuff like that, but no circles.
To change the cuboid of a res after is created, select the new cuboid as your normally do. Then use /res area replace <resname> <areaname> (/res area replace Home main)
This will replace your old res area with the new one youve sleected

Posted Mar 24, 2012Is there anyway to make non-square residences? And how does one modify a residence that was already created?
I've looked around the wiki but I haven't seen information on the first, and I can't tell if the wiki is saying that you can only modify during the selection process or if you can do it whenever.

Posted Mar 24, 2012Hi, im currently running residence 2.5.5beta and i cant use the rent system.
If i type /res market i just get "/res ? for more info" Typing /resadmin rent prison.cell1 10 10 i just get "/res ? for more info"
If i use residence signs it is the same but it wont set up a rent, if i place a sign inside a residence and put [rent] it seems to understand that the area isnt rentable and then pops the sign off however if i make a sign with [rent] prison.cell1 10/10/True
It just stays blank and doesnt set the res up for rent.
Here is the portion of the config which i believe i have set up ok. Please tell me if you need any more info as i really want to help get this sorted.

I forgot to say that i am using EssentialsEco for the economy and i have the latest version of Vault installed. All my other plugins are working with economy correctly.

Not encountering this in 2.5.5 or the Dev build. It wont prevent monsters from wandering in the area that spawn outside the res. Could that be happening?

edit your Residence config.yml file.. Just copy the Default section and rename Default to your group name thats in your permissions config. edit each line for each type of group

Your animals flag sets whether or not animals are allowed to spawn, not whether or not other players are allowed to kill them.
Thats what we need as well as the spawn flag. We need a protection flag.
