Quester

Quester is highly customizable plugin handling all kinds of quests. From simple "gather to get reward" quests, to complicated forked story-telling quests. What is even better, everything is customizable on-the-fly directly in game ! No more restarting/reloading your server every time to change something. Localizable messages, plenty of different, highly-customizable objectives, conditions, events and flags. NPC and sign support. All this together creates almost unlimited possibilities.
Found a bug? Have a suggestion? Sumbit a ticket.
Don't forget to specify Quester version you are using and label the ticket appropriately. Tickets without label will take longer to review or be ignored completely.
Latest DEV version should be working with recent minecraft versions. See dev builds.

Posted Feb 21, 2013For some reason the a Boss kill does not count. Im gonna kill the boss named Zombie_Lieutenant but after i kill him the quest objective is stil incomplete Heres the quest

It may be because you are OP or have quester.admin permission, in that case you ignore all conditions.

Yes, item remove event is already on to-do list.
To display custom objective/condition description, use custom objective/condition description.

Posted Feb 21, 2013I cannot seem to locate any info on this so perhaps someone can clarify.
Is there any way to A. have the quest progress report the NAME of the npc you must interact with instead of its ID number.. sort of removes the immersive feel when the quest says interact with unit number 12 instead of "The lost Miner"
And B. Is there any way to change the progress listing to hide coordinates and perhaps just vaguely say something like "Go to required location."
I have hidden item quests, but with the coords on the progress its sort of mute to hide them very well.
Finally.. I havent read if ITEM removal events are in the works.. anyone know, such as allowing negative numbers on the ITEM event.

Hi , i noticed this bug right away as well.. instead I have been adding another location, npc or sign aside from quest giver to turn the quest in at. This works pretty well..
For example, I have a Lump'O coal quest where you have to go get a certain special piece of coal.. the quest could say bring it to me.. but instead it asks you to take it to the mine cart. that is about 15 units away from the questgiver.. a location ending trigger.
NOW.. if we could just remove an item from inventory on completion , gathering quests would rock!

Posted Feb 18, 2013New dev (fix) version is out. (0.6.3.2) It fixes Npc Kill Objective bug that caused the objective to be completed after a single kill, no matter what amount was specified.

Posted Feb 18, 2013Would be great if we could play sounds.. sounds would be a great way to know when a quest was accepted and completed.. sometimes you just miss the MSG telling you its over.
Bukkit can use player.playsound should be pretty easy to plug in.
