Orebfuscator
Orebfuscator - Anti X-RAY:
For all releases of 1.9/1.9.1/1.9.2/1.9.4/1.10/1.11/1.12.x/1.13.x: Version 4.4.3
Now with support for CraftBukkit 1.9/1.9.1/1.9.2/1.9.4/1.10/1.11/1.12.x/1.13.x!
This plugin is used to counter X-RAY Client mods.
It modifies data that are sent to clients to hide blocks of your choice, such as Ore, chests, dungeons, etc.
It does not manipulate blocks in the world file, thus is safe to use.
ProximityHider is a feature that hides chests that are far from players.
As of 4.3.3, Proximity Hider has been enhanced to use line-of-sight checks, not just proximity! Upgrade today.

Posted Feb 5, 2014The wiki has not much info about what exactly some of the config settings do. Can you enlighten me?
What exactly does that mean?
What exactly are the down/upsides of either a low compression or high? I get that high compression sends small files thus less bandwidth used but whats the tradeoff?
Same here, what is the effect of setting the priority to high? Less fake ores? Higher performance hit?

Oh sorry about that, I read the question maybe forgot to reply?
It shouldn't affect Orebfuscator.
@omgitsbob12
You did try to do a /ofc clearcache, right? It's THE step for 2.0.8 to rid of that problem.

There are a fair amount of optimization that went into it, to only check if a player move by full blocks, and to only check certain blocks. Give it a try, and try not to put too many blocks (or keep the default settings).
Also, it runs on a separate CPU core so it should have no impact on the main game even if it takes 100% of the core it occupies because CraftBukkit runs on another CPU core.
@omgitsbob12
Is that the NULL issue? cuz I did delete that line of debug message in 2.0.8.

Posted Feb 4, 2014How resource intensive is the ProximityHider? I am thinking about enabling it but I am scared that it will eat a lot of CPU because it will constantly have to check whether the player is near hidden blocks or not.

Does the version say 2.0.8? Make sure you get it from the forum link since BukkitDev is crazy slow and the file is still not approved yet.

I have not posted a download link because bukkitdev has to approve the file I uploaded, and I am not allowed to post direct download links in the comments or on the description.
If you are looking for the download, either wait until the file is approved on BukkitDev or go over to the forums.

Posted Feb 3, 2014Hello, To anyone who is interested in this plugin it is bugged in version 2.06 where any air blocks can cause corrupted chunks. In 2.07 has solved the issues with spigot optimization. They now have 2.08 out but no clear download including their own project site on bukkit. After digging I managed to find a link on the bukkit forum. The change logs talk about the updates but yet no download. Here is a link to the current download. Pc_Girl StreamerCraft.com

an /ofc clearcache should fix the issue I believe.
@ThaSourceGaming
I'm not sure the problem with NoLagg is, but if it is, disable chunk sending queue in NoLagg will fix it. They are modifying the chunk queue in a way to send it in a different order, but Orebfuscator also needs to take over the queue, so NoLagg force-take the queue and feeds their chunks to orebfuscator through code directly. This is bad because whenever either of us change implementation something stops working and NoLagg decides to send the chunk without Orebfuscator processing it, which means no protection over them at all.

Posted Feb 3, 2014lishid I still didn't get an answer from you. When I start my server with latest official NoLagg and Oreb (2.0.8) It still tells me that you (oreb) removed compatibility with NoLagg. Did you get in an argument with NoLagg devs or something?? or what may the issue be with non compatibility?
P.S I get an error message in console from NoLagg that you removed compatibility.
