Orebfuscator
Orebfuscator - Anti X-RAY:
For all releases of 1.9/1.9.1/1.9.2/1.9.4/1.10/1.11/1.12.x/1.13.x: Version 4.4.3
Now with support for CraftBukkit 1.9/1.9.1/1.9.2/1.9.4/1.10/1.11/1.12.x/1.13.x!
This plugin is used to counter X-RAY Client mods.
It modifies data that are sent to clients to hide blocks of your choice, such as Ore, chests, dungeons, etc.
It does not manipulate blocks in the world file, thus is safe to use.
ProximityHider is a feature that hides chests that are far from players.
As of 4.3.3, Proximity Hider has been enhanced to use line-of-sight checks, not just proximity! Upgrade today.

The "quick" fix could be to use the event system (can casue 50 ms delay till next tick to process) when calling from a different thread.
You would make a PermissionQuery event stating player and relevant permsission(s, map) with getter and setter for hasPermission (flag s held inside of the event).
Then you have a listener for that event that just fills in the permission states.
That should be the fastest way to implement with the penalty of ca. 50 ms delay per query (...).
Optimization:
You could cache the query results in a synchronized map with a timeout till next query. the cache has to be erased on world changes to get world dependent permissions. If to reset for teleporting is a matter of taste (i think using Orebfuscator with region dependent permissions does not yet make sense anyway).
This technique should be used with a set of relevant permissions, then you have seldomly like 50 milliseconds delay, also on world changes. The delay could be configurable, but if you chose 10 seconds it will probably already average away a good bit.
Another optimization is to fill in the permission on join and then the threads always use the cached permission first, but will issue a permission-refill request, which could be handled by an async task which then will do the event call if the map entry is outdated.

No change. It's there to move block updates off the main thread, but should come down to the same amount of CPU.

Maybe they're laggy, maybe they're hackers. Worst case, try disabling UpdateThread

The disconnect.overflow error is fixed you can play Minecraft now with an 100kbit/s connection limit (but its not recommended chunks take ages to load) without getting disconnect.overflow

Posted Aug 13, 2012Hello, I got major lag issues with Orebfuscator. Everything for about 30 minutes from start of server works fine, TPS is at 19,6. But after the delay, TPS drstically drops until 0, making the server unplayable.

Posted Aug 12, 2012With Orebfuscator installed, it seems like I only take 1-2 full heart of fall damage when I fall from 20 blocks up. Sometimes I do not even take fall damage. Can you please look into this? I currently have Orebfuscator v1.5.14 running on RB2320.
It seems to be only happening when I have Orebfuscator v1.5.14 installed along with DisguiseCraft v3.2. Don't know who is at fault.
