Orebfuscator
Orebfuscator - Anti X-RAY:
For all releases of 1.9/1.9.1/1.9.2/1.9.4/1.10/1.11/1.12.x/1.13.x: Version 4.4.3
Now with support for CraftBukkit 1.9/1.9.1/1.9.2/1.9.4/1.10/1.11/1.12.x/1.13.x!
This plugin is used to counter X-RAY Client mods.
It modifies data that are sent to clients to hide blocks of your choice, such as Ore, chests, dungeons, etc.
It does not manipulate blocks in the world file, thus is safe to use.
ProximityHider is a feature that hides chests that are far from players.
As of 4.3.3, Proximity Hider has been enhanced to use line-of-sight checks, not just proximity! Upgrade today.

Posted Aug 12, 2012But when it would disable it for me, it seemed to disable orebfuscation for everyone. After I logged in as OP and saw that message I then logged off, and logged in as a default and could x-ray again.

Posted Aug 12, 2012When NoObfuscationForOps: true Logged in as OP and I saw the message "Orebfuscator disabled xxx"? Then I logged out, changed IP just to ensure it wasn't confusing the plugin, I know it's probably not affected by this. Came back in as a default and was able to x-ray. Have since updated to your latest build, and have NoObfuscationForOps: false Now am unable to x-ray in either OP or default. I don't really need it too much, I would rather not have it if it's going to break the plugin completely.

Did you see the message at logon "Orebfuscator disabled xxx"?
It's a feature for server admins to be able to see real ores, in case they need to track down hackers. It also puts less load on the server (since less people needs obfuscated chunks, though usually it's just one or two people).

Posted Aug 12, 2012I have NoCheatPlus. It seemed when I would login as Op w/ NoObfuscationForOps: true It would break orebfuscator completely. I set NoObfuscationForOps: false Deleted orebfuscator cache, and have tested on both Op and Default, it seems to be working fine again.

Could be caused by NoCheatPlus or DisguiseCraft if you had them.

Posted Aug 12, 2012If I recall correctly I am using 1.5.13 and I can confirm OFC is not hiding any ores. Just logged in as a default character and was able to see ores clear across the map.

Modified server? And what's after booleans?
Also, are you OP or has the '*' permissions node? That could give you a cyan colored message on login that explains why it's not working.

Posted Aug 12, 2012I've been getting a few of these
http://forums.bukkit.org/threads/bad-compress-data-format.45137/
errors on the latest dev build of bukkit and orebfuscator 1.5.14.
Shows up on console as "disconnect.endOfStream"
A little annoying, but it's rare enough that it's not a major issue.
edit: "Latest" as in build #2328

Any confirmation regarding a memory leak with the latest builds? Seems like no one else has reported anything of the sort, but it clearly happens for me with 1.5.14 and 1.5.13.
