MoxieSkills

MoxieSkills is a skills plugin like none you've ever seen before. Having had three previous recodes, the current version is as fast and efficient as you will ever see. Train yourself in a range of fifteen unique skills to beat your friends. With hiscores, good interfacing and challenging levelling, you'll never be bored.
What Does MoxieSkills Do?
- Competitive levelling formula
- Vast range of skills
- Skill leaderboards
- Skill and XP dynamics similar to that seen of online MMOs
- Multipliers for individual players and their skills
- MySQL Database support
- Each skills is highly configurable - each has it's own file!
This plugin uses an email API to automatically report errors. I do not receive passwords (this would break Bukkit rules). If you want to keep your email anonymous, use Yahoo! email, otherwise use GMail (only Yahoo! and GMail are supported). There is also an option to send your server IP to improve communications. This plugin also uses an auto-updater and MCStats.

Posted Jan 17, 2013an other question, Can you add a feature/option that you disable abilities only for use in pvp, but can be used against mobs, because people will use mob grinders to gain xp to level up and get OP. ( happend on my server when we had mcmmo, We stopt using mcmmo because of the dupe glitches the have)

hey, good question. I'm working on the abilities now, and they can be enabled or disabled just like the skills. When I've finished the abilities, they'll be in version 1.3 although the plugin should autoipdate if you have that enabled. I can confirm that the multiskill abilities feature is working too, so abilities shouldn't be too far away now :)
As for farming/herbalism, I'm just waiting for some things in Bukkit to appear. At the moment, I think that the current ways of adding that skill have too many exploits,so I'm waiting for a more indepth addition of this sort of thing from Bukkit

If they are already in it, What are they and on what level do you unlock them? And maybe add a skill, Farming or herbalism?

Hey, the plugin uses bukkits method for permissions so as far as im aware, all permissions plugins are compatible. Its been tested with PEX so I guess this is the case and id say it'll work. If it doesn't for some reason, be sure to let me know by PM or comment!

yep, in fact the entire econ system in moxie runs on vault, so where you put the type to money in the reward, everything should link in fine with vault and therefore the econ systems.
I will consider adding a /moxie reload, although each save cycle refreshs the data I can see why this might be useful in the future.
As for the config thing, its possible there might have been an error in it somewhere but im glad its fixed now!

moxie.attack.skill and moxie.attack.cmd both come under moxie.attack.*, so you can use that shorthand for each skill :)

These skills will be permanent yes, and players level up between logins without change. Tomorrow I intend to release another build 1.1 which will contain pretty much every structural feature I want so far, including rewards, max levels, and more. After this build, I'll be starting to add in abilities which will be highly configurable by yourselves :) I haven'tt updated the page yet but the plugin command is /moxie, which brings up a help menu for features added so far,

I'm really lost as to what the current state of the plugin is, and how things actually work, but I'm really intrigued.
