Welcome to the ultimate monster hell. I have brought together everything anyone everyone could ever want to do with monsters into one completely hellbent plugin. Use at your own risk.
Warning - Zombie digging is destructive, if you turn it on and configure it, please backup your worlds.
Plugin has been thoroughly tested as working properly, if you have trouble please report it so I can make it work for a wider range of setups!
PLEASE USE CRAFTBUKKIT 1.11 (R1) for version 19.6. Only Spigot supports this build. No other builds will work with this version.

Config
http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/monster-apocalypse/pages/config/
(Is partially updated)
You will need to reference craftbukkit enums for drops and block attacking to work, failure to use valid enums could potentially break your plugin. You can find them here:
https://hub.spigotmc.org/javadocs/bukkit/org/bukkit/Material.html
You may want to play with Spawn Points, you can find the info here:
http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/monster-apocalypse/pages/spawn-points/
If you wish to develop your own plugin with my health API, check this page:
http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/monster-apocalypse/pages/health-api/
For Nightmare Mode, check here:
http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/monster-apocalypse/pages/nightmare-mode/
Need multiple configs?
- Note: This is outdated and may not work.
How to set up multiple installations, for different custom difficulties on multiple worlds:
- Copy the MA jar and rename it.
- Rename the plugin inside plugin.yml of the second copy (within the jar), and remove the commands section.
- Disable registering the /MA command in the second copy's config.
- Double check that you have no world names overlapping between the two configs, and that your bonus and naturalistic spawns are restricted to the right worlds.
You now have two separate installations.

I agree with Kane tho as well, There have been time I wished I could kill some of the bonus mobs off in day but left the natural ones.
Some mobs I want to swamp during night but go away again during the day, I think it would probably add functionality if we could actually define special prams on all the mobs. Hardly a waste of time imho.
I don't understand why the powered creeper is not in there though and enderdragon, there not going anywhere code wise I understand why you don't want to add giants and monster as there not supported by mojang in anyway and are not even available naturally.
but the Powered Creeper and the Enderdragon are natural occurring mobs and it would be nice to spice up the dragon a bit and add a chance to spawn a creeper as a powered creeper.

It's definitely possible, though you could do that with another plugin too. It seems pretty specialized to me, so I left it out, though I did give it some thought.

Do you think its possible to make it so we can add special hooks for mobs like example:
What I pretty much want to do is kill off all spawns in the day or most of them in sunlight because there is way way to many spawning.
example of what it looks like overtime in the daytime:

Slow zombie survival. Requires teamwork and meta-strategy for base defense.

Posted Feb 21, 2012I found out what my problem was. Your plugin sees Citizens NPCs as actual players.
Thus, all the zombies tend to congregate around citizens npcs and eventually reach the spawn cap, and no other mobs spawn anywhere else in the world.
I'm hoping to work around this by enabling the "zombie frustration death" function and having them drop air after 2 minutes.

I think its:
Check for the deaggro permission for entity attacks, shooting super arrows, and mega-aggro?: false

It's definitely possible. I've heard of a lot of people having trouble with this plugin under R4.
@ramsydk
You can't.
@WayGroovy
Your settings will need to add up BETWEEN 100 and 101, due to rounding errors which I made that whole range available to account for. I suggest 100.1.
@Calidian1
Try R3, and make sure your world name is set right.

Posted Feb 19, 2012I haven't been able to work this plugin properly in the past month. The config is all default, it's updated to the newest degree, as well as bukkit dev... But it won't work?
Do any of these plugins conflict with this plugin?

Posted Feb 19, 2012I can't help but think I'm doing it wrong...
Here's my current config: http://pastebin.com/QLBBPG1B
I can't help but feel I'm doing it wrong.
I had bonus set at zombie 98.0 and ghast at 2.0, but as soon as I did that, ghasts everywhere.
What I expect to happen:
Bonus mobs spawn chance
Chance of a zombie spawning = Round (( Zombie Chance * spawn: True ) / SUM ( Mob Bonus Chance * thatmob spawn : true) , 1 )
Such that it doesn't matter what numbers I put in the Chance field, it adds up all the true set chances for that spawn category, and then spawns mobs in that category proportionally weighted...
As my configuration currently stands, with
Naturalistic Bonus Spawns: Ghast spawn: true chance 2.2
Sum of all Naturalistic Bonus Spawns that are true = 100.0
Natural: Ghast spawn: true chance 2.2
Sum of all Natural chances that are true = 100.0
I dunno.

Posted Feb 19, 2012That is the issue. I am using R4. Mobs spawn fine without the mod turned on, so I know I have them enabled. Does the plugin not register difference in "B" and "b"?
I had the world name spelled right, and monsters spawn just fine without the mod turned on, so it must be that it is because I am using R4

Sounds like you got one name wrong, or maybe your multi-world plugin is loading second. Try adding your multi-world plugin as a hard dependancy in your MA.
