Welcome to the ultimate monster hell. I have brought together everything anyone everyone could ever want to do with monsters into one completely hellbent plugin. Use at your own risk.
Warning - Zombie digging is destructive, if you turn it on and configure it, please backup your worlds.
Plugin has been thoroughly tested as working properly, if you have trouble please report it so I can make it work for a wider range of setups!
PLEASE USE CRAFTBUKKIT 1.11 (R1) for version 19.6. Only Spigot supports this build. No other builds will work with this version.

Config
http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/monster-apocalypse/pages/config/
(Is partially updated)
You will need to reference craftbukkit enums for drops and block attacking to work, failure to use valid enums could potentially break your plugin. You can find them here:
https://hub.spigotmc.org/javadocs/bukkit/org/bukkit/Material.html
You may want to play with Spawn Points, you can find the info here:
http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/monster-apocalypse/pages/spawn-points/
If you wish to develop your own plugin with my health API, check this page:
http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/monster-apocalypse/pages/health-api/
For Nightmare Mode, check here:
http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/monster-apocalypse/pages/nightmare-mode/
Need multiple configs?
- Note: This is outdated and may not work.
How to set up multiple installations, for different custom difficulties on multiple worlds:
- Copy the MA jar and rename it.
- Rename the plugin inside plugin.yml of the second copy (within the jar), and remove the commands section.
- Disable registering the /MA command in the second copy's config.
- Double check that you have no world names overlapping between the two configs, and that your bonus and naturalistic spawns are restricted to the right worlds.
You now have two separate installations.

Posted Feb 2, 2013I actually cant get the "odd" creatures to come in at all. I have Skeletons set that when they die a WitherSkeleton appears just to test it... whatever I'm doing wrong, it only wants to recognize Skeltons, Creepers, and Zombies, I cant get Silverfish, Blazes etc to appear, minus a monster egg to appear.

But, for some reason I have Nat Bonus Spawns set to True, and I have a 100% on the dot with the standard bad guys plus CaveSpider, Silverfish, Pigzombie, etc... but it will not take, or at least those special guys wont spawn, just the normal crew? Any idea what I have wrong?
My lines: Worlds: - world Enable naturalistic bonus spawns?: true Naturalistic bonus spawn world name: world Naturalistic bonus spawn mob attempts per tick: 10 Number of mobs to spawn in a spot if found: 1 Bonus distance max scale: 1.0 Tick period for bonus natural spawns, increase this to drastically slow spawning: 1 Naturalistic distance max scale: 1.0
My creatures look like this: Blaze: spawn: true chance: 1.0

Set it to break in the monster apocalypse config.
i think its enum is
WOOD_DOOR, its default to 10 seconds on vanilla.

I use World Guard flag "mob-spawning deny" so they don't spawn in the areas I don't want to.

you can go over health 200, i think its infinite.
And ask blain about the witch, i think its un-controlable like slimes becuase of the way it attacks.
slimes are too diverse, all the sizes and such.
Witches attack with potions, so i don't think its possible to change the value for the potion.
And bats, along with any peaceful mob cannot attack becuase they do not create the event.
they are peacefull, so no attacking cows, sorry.
I tried it myself.
@Naruchico
Just use world guard and give the area a mob-spawning flag, enable it at the beginning of the MA config - check worldguard spawn flag checks: true (something like that).

Posted Jan 31, 2013Got a question, I'm trying to make the mobs spawn strictly outside of an area, I tried placing spawn points at a distance, tried fiddling with alot of the settings, I just can't seem to stop them from spawning in dark places in the area.
I just want them to spawn outside a house and work towards it, anyway to work that out?
-edit- all the vanilla mobs are turned off completley

Posted Jan 31, 2013HI! Wow, I'm so glad this is ready to go, puttign into play Saturday! Question please, I saw someone's sample config below, it looks like you can take health over 200 now? Is that true? Also, I did not see the Witch, can you control her, or is that not possible? And, If you give the Bat a Damage value, can it actually attack you? I saw it was in the persons Config?
Thanks for any help!!!!

I haven't a clue. Try a fresh install with just MA and default zombie config and work from there, adding plugins or changing configs until it breaks again, then you have your answer.

So this is what I did. I removed all my plugins except the following running with MA 11.1. All the plugins are at their latest versions. Running on 1.4.7-R0.1
I am getting weird results with Mega-Aggro not working, and Mass Aggro speed randomly working/not working. There is no error log.
Increasing the aggro range bears no positive results.
I even edited the plugin.yml Softdepend by adding My Worlds so that MA loads after My Worlds, but the result is the same.
Can you check what is wrong? Thanks!

bonus spawning is global, and it will occur everywhere.
Naturalistic bonus spawning relies on the naturalistic spawns, meaning if a spider is limited to y 40 he will only spawn below, unlike bonus spawns.
not sure if this is correct - but i think it also relies on the precentage of the spawn percentage on the spider.
naturalistic spawning is more controllable in my opinion.
