Welcome to the ultimate monster hell. I have brought together everything anyone everyone could ever want to do with monsters into one completely hellbent plugin. Use at your own risk.
Warning - Zombie digging is destructive, if you turn it on and configure it, please backup your worlds.
Plugin has been thoroughly tested as working properly, if you have trouble please report it so I can make it work for a wider range of setups!
PLEASE USE CRAFTBUKKIT 1.11 (R1) for version 19.6. Only Spigot supports this build. No other builds will work with this version.

Config
http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/monster-apocalypse/pages/config/
(Is partially updated)
You will need to reference craftbukkit enums for drops and block attacking to work, failure to use valid enums could potentially break your plugin. You can find them here:
https://hub.spigotmc.org/javadocs/bukkit/org/bukkit/Material.html
You may want to play with Spawn Points, you can find the info here:
http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/monster-apocalypse/pages/spawn-points/
If you wish to develop your own plugin with my health API, check this page:
http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/monster-apocalypse/pages/health-api/
For Nightmare Mode, check here:
http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/monster-apocalypse/pages/nightmare-mode/
Need multiple configs?
- Note: This is outdated and may not work.
How to set up multiple installations, for different custom difficulties on multiple worlds:
- Copy the MA jar and rename it.
- Rename the plugin inside plugin.yml of the second copy (within the jar), and remove the commands section.
- Disable registering the /MA command in the second copy's config.
- Double check that you have no world names overlapping between the two configs, and that your bonus and naturalistic spawns are restricted to the right worlds.
You now have two separate installations.

Posted Jan 27, 2013What is the exact deaggro permission? Does the deaggro permission work for any of the permissions plugins? What I'm trying to do is make a server where on special occasions have a monster invasion on towns and castles with the players in them. Basically I want to turn the mega-aggro off and on from in game. The only way I have found to do it is by add or removing the deaggro permission from the players' group permissions.

Posted Jan 27, 2013@blainicus I've scanned the config several times, is there anyway to lower the stop distance or eliminate it all together?

You're using mass aggro for mobs that aren't creepers, zombies, or skeletons. That's the silverfish spawns.
The area below you is from your mass aggro stop distance.

Posted Jan 27, 2013Hi, I'm receiving a weird bug. While playing, there seems to be about 100 silverfish spawning then despawning all around me. Its hurting my servers RAM and slowing down the plugin drastically and no errors are ever thrown. I dont know what may be causing this but I disabled their spawns with Essentials and it fixed its self. Also, the AI seems to be a bit bugged. Im not sure if its something in the config, but when Im 10+ blocks in the air, mobs tend to form a square around me and not pile at the bottom like I thought they would.(in picture below)
Finally, I was wondering if there was any way you could add a feature that makes it so zombies / pig zombies dont break the gravel that was JUST put down by a now dead zombie / pig zombie.

Everything should work fine if you don't do any reloads (launch once). If the reload caused your error, no problem, just don't reload. If you are having this problem and NOT reloading, try fixing your config, then try changing multiverse from a soft depend to a hard depend in the plugin.yml. If you are still having a problem, it's a multiverse bug or you missed a config problem.

Hmm, I don't think so. I have the worlds statement at the top (wasn't shown on the config dump)
Worlds:
- gehenna
The other specific bonus spawn world settings are false - should be no difference since I'm only using it for one world? I am using multiverse. Everything works fine until I got those errors posted earlier (a few hours later). Thanks for having a look!

I took a closer look at your config, it's actually your worlds/multiworld that are set wrong.
@twisterlj
It might still be bugged, I've had similar problems. I'll be releasing a new version next week.

You can get it to do exactly what you want, you just need to read up on how to configure it.

Posted Jan 26, 2013I have bonus naturalistic spawns on, and have 10 mobs set to true and their %=100. I'm however seeing something different in game, one of the mobs, Giants, I have set at 1%, as I do for cave spiders and blazes. I see blazes and cave spiders on rare occasions, but Giants are all over the place, spawning 4-6+ at a time. I have zombies set at most prevalent at 67%, and am not seeing much if any increase there. Any ideas?

Posted Jan 26, 2013I want to use this as a zombie apocalypse plugin. I just need the zombie properties, such as seeking players out like a bear. I don't need bonus mobs or extra mobs spawning, just the vanilla ones. Also I need Zombies to break wood and doors. Also, can I get zombies to drop something like a head?

Your natural spawns are set up wrong.

You might be using the wrong craftbukkit build.
@dretax
The hard capper was using more CPU than it was preserving under the majority of circumstances.
