Welcome to the ultimate monster hell. I have brought together everything anyone everyone could ever want to do with monsters into one completely hellbent plugin. Use at your own risk.
Warning - Zombie digging is destructive, if you turn it on and configure it, please backup your worlds.
Plugin has been thoroughly tested as working properly, if you have trouble please report it so I can make it work for a wider range of setups!
PLEASE USE CRAFTBUKKIT 1.11 (R1) for version 19.6. Only Spigot supports this build. No other builds will work with this version.

Config
http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/monster-apocalypse/pages/config/
(Is partially updated)
You will need to reference craftbukkit enums for drops and block attacking to work, failure to use valid enums could potentially break your plugin. You can find them here:
https://hub.spigotmc.org/javadocs/bukkit/org/bukkit/Material.html
You may want to play with Spawn Points, you can find the info here:
http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/monster-apocalypse/pages/spawn-points/
If you wish to develop your own plugin with my health API, check this page:
http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/monster-apocalypse/pages/health-api/
For Nightmare Mode, check here:
http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/monster-apocalypse/pages/nightmare-mode/
Need multiple configs?
- Note: This is outdated and may not work.
How to set up multiple installations, for different custom difficulties on multiple worlds:
- Copy the MA jar and rename it.
- Rename the plugin inside plugin.yml of the second copy (within the jar), and remove the commands section.
- Disable registering the /MA command in the second copy's config.
- Double check that you have no world names overlapping between the two configs, and that your bonus and naturalistic spawns are restricted to the right worlds.
You now have two separate installations.

You are using the wrong version of craftbukkit. I had to remove your comment because it was clogging the page.

I am kind-of answering for blain here, but that is too specific for this plugin, it's also the reason why slimes don't have damage and health attributes on the config, its too much.
Not sure if blain wants to support it.
Try this:

Posted Jan 23, 2013Can you make it so villagers spawn with certain classes other than just one lame one that tries to rip you off in every way?

I have figured out what that's from, it occurs from mega-aggro, torch destruction, and neutral attacker. These methods will only work if the world is launched only once. With any of these on, you will need a full restart.

MonsterFaces doesn't have the setting to choose heads per monster for specific conditions.

Posted Jan 22, 2013I wanted a "castle siege" world where players spawn in a castle and fend off mobs that try to destroy it. But of course, then I have to go and fix the castle or manually reset the world every time someone plays it. So I got Multiverse Adventures, and all was good, until I discovered that MA throws a massive number of NPE's as soon as the map gets reset. I put the error in a ticket, if it helps, but I think this would just be a matter of checking with Multiverse if the world is loaded before doing anything to the mobs in the world.
Edit: Nevermind, tickets are disabled.

There is another plugin for that, I believe it is called MonsterFaces.

Get Citizens, Sentries, and Denizens. Using these 3 plugins (or maybe just Citizens and Sentries) you should be able to accomplish that.

How about only including Player Heads? Those don't prevent any damage but still can be used to make monsters look different.

Unfortunately it would be too big of an overhaul. I'm sure someone else will make a separate plugin for this, and it will be compatible with MA.
@MrMightyGnome
I increased the waypoint distance and calculated angles rather than lateral directions.

What are the actual details on the new pathfinding?

well actually factoring in the armor would make for mobs with high health, and a large amount of resistance. It isn't just for show, I'd actually love to see, say, a diamond sword worth of damage ON TOP of the already crazy amount of damage my zombies deal, if it is wielding one ;D

It sounds interesting, but it's outside the scope of MA. Something like that would be better for a specialized plugin SPECIFICALLY for that purpose only.
@sjoerdtim
The reason I haven't done that is because I would have to rewrite the damage listener entirely, and would only serve aesthetic purposes with this.
@deathindustry
Monster Apocalypse is not designed for modded servers.

Posted Jan 21, 2013Will this plugin work with tekkit lite 052? I get the "invalid world name" error no matter what I name the world. I've tried loading "world" as the server map and it still rejects it. I'm completely out of ideas...the plugin loads fine but is disabled due to map name!

Posted Jan 21, 2013I'd still like to see Custom armour and weapons to equip the monsters. To make them look more randomized.
Also equiping with custom player heads would be awsome.

Posted Jan 21, 2013Nice Work, I love your plugins. It makes minecraft more fearfull and more interessting. I have donated you some cash for your work. It would be nice if you could add a feature that loads different mob configs each night, by user sequence. What about adding special npcs (not herobrine) that spawn in the night an hunter for players. This npcs could have custom skins, armor, weapons and attributes(hp,resis,etc) as well as different abilities(buffs) and it can teleport itself to the players. Whats your opinion about my ideas?
