Welcome to the ultimate monster hell. I have brought together everything anyone everyone could ever want to do with monsters into one completely hellbent plugin. Use at your own risk.
Warning - Zombie digging is destructive, if you turn it on and configure it, please backup your worlds.
Plugin has been thoroughly tested as working properly, if you have trouble please report it so I can make it work for a wider range of setups!
PLEASE USE CRAFTBUKKIT 1.11 (R1) for version 19.6. Only Spigot supports this build. No other builds will work with this version.
Monster apocalypse is copyright by the individual aliased on this site as blainicus, all rights reserved. You are free to use it commercially, as long as you do not sell the plugin itself unmodified, and do not claim ownership. Source code is included for self-modification. You will need to reference craftbukkit enums for drops and block attacking to work, failure to use valid enums could potentially break your plugin. You can find them here:

Need multiple configs?
- Note: This is outdated and may not work.
How to set up multiple installations, for different custom difficulties on multiple worlds:
- Copy the MA jar and rename it.
- Rename the plugin inside plugin.yml of the second copy (within the jar), and remove the commands section.
- Disable registering the /MA command in the second copy's config.
- Double check that you have no world names overlapping between the two configs, and that your bonus and naturalistic spawns are restricted to the right worlds.
You now have two separate installations.

check the console when the plugin is loading, I think your having the same issue i'm having. If the TamedWolf is showing invalid enums, the mobs wont spawn right. I have been waiting for a response for many days now on how to fix this.

Posted Aug 22, 2012What's the easiest way to get Giants to spawn with this plugin? I've messed around with naturalistic and bonus spawns but I can't seem to get it to work right. I'm going to put Giant as a replacement for spiders in the natural spawn options, maybe this will work?
Edit: Holy shiz it worked! lol now to edit the spawn chances haha
Edit #2: Hmm I guess this only worked for me that one time, really odd I can't figure out why though... Now, spiders are still spawning all over and not being replaced by Giants when they do. I swear this was just working, I went to change spawncount under spiders (which are currently being replaced by Giants, thinking this would slow them down) no spiders or giants spawned at all after this, I changed it back to spawncount of 1, now I just see spiders. I could have been seeing left over Giants from a Giant plugin I was testing, however I'm almost 100% positive I cleared them all before messing around with replacements in MA's natural spawn options. Once I restarted server the first time after messing with replacements, it looked to me as if all the spiders spawns were turning into Giants.. Now I can't get it to work anymore.
Seems as if none of the replacements are working properly since 1.3.2, I know everything in the config is correct..
I have PigZombies set to true in the natural spawns, which I know used to work because I would seem them all over the world that MA is selected for. I have yet to see a PigZombie since 1.3.2 .... I have a feeling a lot of the natural spawn options in config no longer work as they should.

Posted Aug 21, 2012whenever i leave the server alone for hours, i return it always to see under 8 tps and like butcher 5500 mobs spawned it. it is possible that there is a mob despawn error/memory leak

Posted Aug 20, 2012I did not get any errors with this plugin when testing 1.3.2 but I did not really dive into it to hard but before to long I would like to see this spout loot compatible seems mobs will not drop spout items I figure you probably have to wait for the new spoutcraft to be out before then but would like to see it.

Um why would I do that being I don't want the mobs to run around during the day also the mobs are working fine now the issue was Skeletons were turned off on Essentials your comment would not have done anything but make mobs run a muck on my server during the day the day time is the only time my players have to rebuild their bases I would hate to try and build on a server which turned off those two options you couldn't do anything but die.

I have tried with setting this to an item, no item (default settings) and removing that section completely, this is stopping any of the config changes i made from working. Please help. This plugin was working great untill i updated it to 1.3. now things just spawn naturally.

Posted Aug 19, 2012Will this work with RB2? Or should I wait? Thanks! As for the question about no skeletons, I did something that got rid of all the creepers, with only this plugin, not intended. I pulled the plugin out, restarted, then put it back in and restarted and it went back, sometimes I think its just a qwirk? I always raise the light level a little as well, usually to 10 or so, if you want more baddies, especially, it makes it tougher when its raining, etc.

Bonus spawn period: 60000 Naturalistic bonus spawn mob attempts per tick: 1000 Number of mobs to spawn in a spot if found: 15
this means you are trying to spawn 15 mobs 1000 times in 60 seconds thats why your getting mobbed so bad

Posted Aug 19, 2012My server is absolutely flooding with every mob. Could someone make a suggestion on how to even things out more? I want a challenge with hordes of mobs, but to the point where they're everywhere and I die every 3 seconds.
