Welcome to the ultimate monster hell. I have brought together everything anyone everyone could ever want to do with monsters into one completely hellbent plugin. Use at your own risk.
Warning - Zombie digging is destructive, if you turn it on and configure it, please backup your worlds.
Plugin has been thoroughly tested as working properly, if you have trouble please report it so I can make it work for a wider range of setups!
PLEASE USE CRAFTBUKKIT 1.11 (R1) for version 19.6. Only Spigot supports this build. No other builds will work with this version.

You will need to reference craftbukkit enums for drops and block attacking to work, failure to use valid enums could potentially break your plugin. You can find them here:

Need multiple configs?
- Note: This is outdated and may not work.
How to set up multiple installations, for different custom difficulties on multiple worlds:
- Copy the MA jar and rename it.
- Rename the plugin inside plugin.yml of the second copy (within the jar), and remove the commands section.
- Disable registering the /MA command in the second copy's config.
- Double check that you have no world names overlapping between the two configs, and that your bonus and naturalistic spawns are restricted to the right worlds.
You now have two separate installations.

Try limiting the number of spawns to really really low, like...50. If that fixes the lag, slowly increase until your server can't handle any more, then back it off by about 10-20% and add in the other plugins.
If that doesn't work, look into other ways to limit mobs spawning, like Nolagg or maxtps or ptweaks or any of the numerous other anti lag plugins with mob/monster limiting capabilities.
@blainicus I would also be interested in being able to add enchantments to the items that mobs drop...although, I'd rather have the ability to '/ma reload', as my server has a decent number of plugins (30-40 of them), and takes at least 20 seconds to do a full reload, causing most if not all my players to be disconnected. Not a big issue on my test server, but configuring this on my live server was kinda painful.

Posted Aug 11, 2012We are having severe server lag with this plugin. We have removed all plugins and this one lags out the server. We adjusted the number of spawning mobs and it still causes severe lag.

Posted Aug 11, 2012Hey, a bit of a different question.
Is it possible to make a zombie drop a enchanted IRON_SWORD?
i added the Iron sword correctly, and i have tried adding the enchantements numeric after,
giving it the name, Before, in the middle and after the percent and amount.
is there any way to do this, or should i look for plugins that do this themselves?

It's probably your host or computer, mentalist was having issues loading it into his host.

You likely have peaceful mode or hostiles disabled in vanilla/multiverse.

The command is solely for setting spawn points. Everything is done through the config file.

I tried that and it still committed suicide, I appreciate the attempt but it failed. This plugin looks like so much fun but it's so damn frustrating that I can't get this to work. This has never happened to me with any other plugin so it's just weird that it could be me because what I'm doing works on over 43 other plugs :/

I got a little question, I'm trying to use Mo'Creatures (and Aquaculture, but first i care about Mo'Creatures) with your wonderful Monster Apocalypse. Is there any way to add the mobs to your plugin configuration? I've tried this : http://pastebin.com/AizZuEQi and it's not working at all (not even for classical mobs). What should I use so that MonsterApocalypse cares of the other mobs and change their properties?

Posted Aug 10, 2012guys, to fix the not saving config thing, copy the entire config contents as is, delete that file... open NOTEPAD paste it in there, save it as config.yml and put that where the other config was... had the same issue, this made it work :D
Do not try to edit the default config make anew one!! and delete the default one!!

Posted Aug 10, 2012A quick chime in here. I'm having a slight problem. Peaceful spawns such as sheep and so on are fine, but at night mobs spawn and then disappear immediately. I'm pretty much running the default configuration. Any hints on what I'm doing wrong?
