As most of you have already worked out, public support for this project has been non existent. Unfortunately with the workload of trying to manage and run a server network where minigames is only 1 out of what feels like 1000 projects we maintain... It gets hard trying to find time to help everyone.
But fear not this project is indeed not abandoned! We have moved the project to SpigotMC:

Minigames is a plugin in which users can create and play several types of Minigames on a server, without the risk of losing items or XP when they die. Players can also use checkpoints so when they die, they are reverted back to that position.
The Possible Minigame types are:
- Single Player - for jump puzzles, mazes etc.
- Last Man Standing - A multiplayer Free for All (FFA) PvP Minigame
- Race - A Multiplayer race Minigame
- Team Deathmatch - A deathmatch round against 2 teams, first to a defined score wins!
- Deathmatch - A free for all deathmatch round against any predefined amount of players, first to a defined score wins!
- Spleef - Its possible to create custom Spleef arenas, as well as your standard spleef arena.
- Treasure Hunt - A global treasure finding Minigame that is always running
- CTF - An expansion to the Team Deathmatch Minigame.
- Infection - An expansion to the Team Deathmatch Minigame where the infected players must kill all survivors.

Purpose:
Minigames was created for players to play games within a server and win prizes for completion, also to let players play PvP games without the risk of losing their hard earned items and XP. Minigames also reward players for completing each Minigame, or with PvP Minigames, the player can be rewarded with 'bets' that players make before they start the Minigame. These bets can be in Economy money or preset items.
These Minigames can be created in any style the player wishes, for example, parkour jump puzzles, mazes and treasure hunts. As well as PvP games like CTF, races and more. You are given a lot of options to add to each Minigame individually, so they are all completely customisable.

Metrics
This plugin utilizes Hidendra's plugin metrics system, which means that the following information is collected and sent to mcstats.org:
- A unique identifier
- The server's version of Java
- Whether the server is in offline or online mode
- The plugin's version
- The server's version
- The OS version/name and architecture
- The core count for the CPU
- The number of players online
- The Metrics version
- And the amount of players playing games. Opting out of this service can be done by editing plugins/Plugin Metrics/config.yml and changing opt-out to true.

sirmyllox i made a lvl 24 parkour (closed arenas).. with a path between .. so ppls cant get to second parkour if they dont pass the first 1 ..

suggestion: How about the ability to set a game dependency?
Simply put, it would enable a series of games. Lets say you have a simple parkour course, named Park01 and you have a more advanced named Park02.
When you create Park02, you would do something like: "/mgm set Park02 depend Park01"
The result would be that a player then needs to completed Park01 to be able to start Park02.

Basically, set it up like you would lms, turn on block breaking and, if you want to stop islanding, add a floor degenerator.

World Guard region blocking them, you have it in whitelist mode but don't have the blocks the player can break in it, you have it in blacklist mode and you added the blocks the player can break by accident. Theres 3 possibilities.

Posted Feb 17, 2013yaistbilly: i have lms, teamdm, ctf and dm (various arenas for all) working perfectly, even a 24 levels parkour ... the only problem i have is that damn spleef :) i would be grateful if u make me a fast explanation without a video, just how to set it up:) ppls on server getting crazy without that spleef(and when they got it i bet they will get bored in 1 day)

And asking u if theres any problem if i translate to spanish .Cheers ! btw my pvp problem was caused by a plugin called PVPtime .. anyway works fine now , just used wg to make zones and pvp activated!

Posted Feb 16, 2013Having an issue, I'm setting up a race and a lava bottom so if they fall off and die they respawn back at the beginning. But about half the time they do, but the other half they respawn back at spawn. And the other issue is that I'm telling them to do /mgm revert , and there getting an internal error.

Posted Feb 16, 2013I've been doing some thinking on how I am to do a Last Team Standing game type and have come up with two options.
The first being that I turn LMS into a life count setting instead of a separate game mode, allowing both deathmatch and team deathmatch to be able to use a last man standing variant. However this will remove the need of LMS (requiring any spleef games to again be switched over to deathmatch with a life count of 1) and add the ability to do 3 life games.
The second option would be to just create a Last Team Standing game type. The only problem with this is that having the same thing twice makes it harder to update. (I'll have to update two things as apposed to just a single game type). Also, having lives and LMS would just be a bit confusing.
Personally I'd rather have the first option, but I want people to let me know how they'd feel about this change, rather than a couple of angry people like I had with the Spleef change. So let me know. However due to things becoming a bit more complex, I may end up doing preset commands to set up games, for example:
"/minigame set <Minigame> preset spleef"
And that will set up everything for you. (excluding the positions of start and end).
TL;DR
With the first option:

Posted Feb 16, 2013How do you set up the spleef MG? I build the arena, then set up the MGM using the new tutorial (LMS type). But I don't know how to set up death/lose on water.
