As most of you have already worked out, public support for this project has been non existent. Unfortunately with the workload of trying to manage and run a server network where minigames is only 1 out of what feels like 1000 projects we maintain... It gets hard trying to find time to help everyone.
But fear not this project is indeed not abandoned! We have moved the project to SpigotMC:

Minigames is a plugin in which users can create and play several types of Minigames on a server, without the risk of losing items or XP when they die. Players can also use checkpoints so when they die, they are reverted back to that position.
The Possible Minigame types are:
- Single Player - for jump puzzles, mazes etc.
- Last Man Standing - A multiplayer Free for All (FFA) PvP Minigame
- Race - A Multiplayer race Minigame
- Team Deathmatch - A deathmatch round against 2 teams, first to a defined score wins!
- Deathmatch - A free for all deathmatch round against any predefined amount of players, first to a defined score wins!
- Spleef - Its possible to create custom Spleef arenas, as well as your standard spleef arena.
- Treasure Hunt - A global treasure finding Minigame that is always running
- CTF - An expansion to the Team Deathmatch Minigame.
- Infection - An expansion to the Team Deathmatch Minigame where the infected players must kill all survivors.

Purpose:
Minigames was created for players to play games within a server and win prizes for completion, also to let players play PvP games without the risk of losing their hard earned items and XP. Minigames also reward players for completing each Minigame, or with PvP Minigames, the player can be rewarded with 'bets' that players make before they start the Minigame. These bets can be in Economy money or preset items.
These Minigames can be created in any style the player wishes, for example, parkour jump puzzles, mazes and treasure hunts. As well as PvP games like CTF, races and more. You are given a lot of options to add to each Minigame individually, so they are all completely customisable.

Metrics
This plugin utilizes Hidendra's plugin metrics system, which means that the following information is collected and sent to mcstats.org:
- A unique identifier
- The server's version of Java
- Whether the server is in offline or online mode
- The plugin's version
- The server's version
- The OS version/name and architecture
- The core count for the CPU
- The number of players online
- The Metrics version
- And the amount of players playing games. Opting out of this service can be done by editing plugins/Plugin Metrics/config.yml and changing opt-out to true.

I told someone else you could and how to 8 posts ago... haha. Create two loadouts, one called red and the other blue, they assign by default accordingly. I don't get the end of that question though...

Use loadout signs. Create loadouts with
"/minigame set <Minigame> loadout"

other questions, you can put a loadout for each team?. Example: Red Team has a diamond sword. Blue Team has an iron sword. but my question is if this works to get straight to the court and not from the posters?

While having the ability to take your own items into the Minigame is going to be one of the features, item loss won't be. The point of Minigames was for players to play without losing their items (excluding the small bugs when it sometimes happens).

Its not actually the fault of Minigames, its your Minecraft. I had the same issue and I believe its to do with Forge. Playing with a Vanilla MC works fine, but using a modded one seems to mess up the team colouring and make players invisible. Nothing I can do about that.

Posted Feb 21, 2013Is there a Minigame option which I can use to setup an arena that is 1vs1 and the players bring in their own items? Like /mgm duel playername, and the duelled player writes /mgm duel accept and they are teleported to an area where they can't leave before on of them dies. And when one of them dies, the other player has 10secs to pickup items and then they are teleported to a specified quit location.
This is really what my server needs.

Haha yeah, I actually wrote it in the change log... I guess no one reads anything. I've almost got it working for the next update, but I gotta do a couple more tests, I think it lags when it explodes (due to it checking things). But I'll get there (hopefully).
If you create two loadouts, one called "red" and the other "blue" they will assign as default to their respective team.

I'm guessing tnt is exempt from the restoration feature? It was all good fun until we found the map did not regenerate from our tnt chaos haha. It also seems tnt still blows stuff up if block breaking is not allowed. I'm assuming that's normal though.
Second, how can we set the loadouts to give each team their proper colored armor? Can we set team loadout defaults?

Its to do with how Teams are done, not CTF itself. Hopefully bukkit will implement a neat way of doing it with the MC1.5 name colouring.
