Infernal Mobs

Features:
Mobs will randomly become "infernal", then they will become mini bosses. They get a random amount of random powers, a name tag proclaiming them "infernal", and when they die they will drop random enchanted loot. I saw this mod for Forge made by Atomic Stryker, and thought I would make a version for Bukkit. Most aspects of this mod are configurable.
NOTE: For 1.12.2 and older use version: 5.4, build 5.6 and up are 1.13+

Divining Rod:
The divining rod can be used when you are near an infernal mob.
It will take a blaze powder, then point you in the direction of the nearest mob. It will show you a line of particles pointed at the mob.
This rod only works if you are near one of the mobs.

Powers:
- Poisonous: Gives player the poison effect.
- Armoured: Give mobs full diamond armour or a resistance effect.
- Blinding: Gives player the blindness effect.
- Withering: Gives player the withering effect.
- Tosser: Tosses the player around.
- Thief: Steals the item the player is holding.
- Quicksand: Gives player the slowness effect.
- Bullwark: Takes less damage.
- Rust: Damages the tool the player is holding.
- Sapper: Gives player the hunger effect.
- 1up: Has 2 lives.
- Cloaked: Is invisible.
- Ender: Can teleport.
- Ghastly: Shoots fireballs.
- Lifesteal: Gets health from damaging player.
- Sprint: Can go fast.
- Storm: Strikes the player with lightning.
- Webber: Makes a web at the players feet.
- Vengeance: Gives damage from being hit.
- Weakness: Gives player the weakness effect.
- Berserk: Damages the player more, but takes damage from attacking.
- Explode: Explodes on death.
- Potions: Throws harmful potions at the player.
- Mama: Has a slim chance to spawn three babies of its type.
- Molten: Is immune to fire/lava, starts a fire on death and lights the player on fie.
- Archer: Randomly shoots a volley of arrows at player.
- Necromancer: Shoots wither skulls.
- Firework: Fireworks explode from mob when hit.
- Gravity: Levitates the player for a while.
- Flying: Mob can fly.
- Mounted: Riding on another mob.
- Morph: Can infrequently morph into another infernal mob.
- Ghost: On death a ghost is spawned.
- Confusing: Gives player the confusion effect.

Incompatibilities:
There have been instances of incompatibilities with other plugins, any plugin that changes mob names or messes with mob spawning may cause some problems. While they may not be game-braking you may see some weird things and some features might not work.
Known incompatible plugins:
- MobArena v0.96.6
- Any plugin (like MCMMO) that uses score-boards may cause lag when combined with IM (if you have IM score-boards enabled).

It would seem that something is wrong, at 1 they should all be infernal.
Check the console for errors when you spawn them, if there are none than can I see your config and a list of your mods?

Posted Feb 22, 2014We're running Infernal Mobs 2.4, we were on 2.2, and with Spigot 1322, Infernal mobs don't seem to spawn on their own. I can spawn them just fine with the /im command.
Our chance is set to 40, and when I spawn 100 zombies, I see 2 infernals. At chance of 10, 3 our of 100. at chance 1, All were infernal. Is something off in the scaling?

If you want to code something that hooks into my plugin, just set my plugin jar in the buildpath and import mainLeveledMobs.LeveledMobs I have build in a hook that fetches the level of a given entity, just use getCreatureLevel(LivingEntity ent)!

Posted Feb 19, 2014OK, 2.4 uploaded. Should maybe fix the fire particle bug, you can now run unlimited commands on drops, and mobs that previously would stop being infernal on server re-start should now become infernal again.

Posted Feb 19, 2014I have this plugin on my Spigot server, and I have the casting fire particle glitch as well. I thought I would do some testing with it in game and see if I could create it, and I did.
I spawned in an infernal, and then unloaded the chunks it was in (just logged out and back in, seemed easier). After doing this, the infernal would actually wonder away form its particals.I then found that if I would despawn the mob (I used butcher because it was the easier method) the particles would stay and continue doing what ever they were doing before hand. I also found that if you killed the mob even if it was away form its particles the particles would disappear as well (I did not try killing it with its particles on an unloaded chunk). The infernal mob would still have all its counter-attack powers (blindness and things like that) but it seems things like wither skulls and fireballs stayed with the particals. I have no idea if any of this is helpful to you, or if you even already knew all this and I am wasting both of our time here, But I hope it is helpful.
Now, I would like to ask for a command to unload all the internals currently spawned, or even just completely restart the plugin if possible, so that maybe it would reload the glitch and remove it. Otherwise the only way to remove them is a server restart, which can't be done every time one pops up.
Also the only thing we have that effects mob spawning is Spigot itself, it reduces the spawn range form 8 chunks to 4.

it actually does work with spigot, weird. maybe it was the way i loaded it in with plugman.
