Grief Prevention
AUTOMATICALLY PREVENTS ALL FORMS OF GRIEF, including build/break, theft, spam, fire, spawn camping, lava dumping, chat trolling, advertising and more, so you don't have to undo any damage after the fact. It even teaches players how to use it so you don't have to! No configuration or database required. Stop responding to grief and prevent it instead. Grief Prevention will solve your grief problems without requiring you to manage a roster of trained administrators, juggle 10 different anti-grief plugins, take away cool standard game features, publish a training manual / tutorial for players, or add explanatory signs to your world. You can also choose to integrate PvP elements into build design to finally get a PvP experience befitting a sandbox game about creative building.
Grief Prevention stops grief before it starts automatically without any effort from administrators, and with very little (self service) effort from players. Solve all your grief problems with a single download, no database, and no configuration step.

Please Vote for Grief Prevention
I've also posted Grief Prevention on the Spigot site, where plugins are ranked based on reviews. If you love GP, please take a couple of minutes to give GP your rating and leave a short review. Better rating and positive reviews will help server owners who look for plugins on the Spigot site make the safe choice (GP) instead of downloading something sketchy or incomplete. :) Thanks so much for all your support!

Same problem here. And I also don't understand why users aren't notified how to do something when they say something like "How do I claim blocks?"

Posted Apr 5, 2014I have a feature request. A kick command that players could use in their claim to remove an unwanted player. It'd place the offending player outside the edge of the claim. This way I wouldn't have to listen to "Jimmy won't leave mah house!!!" ever again lol.

This is a NPE caused by players in minecarts, i think i saw someone has also raised a ticket about it.
EDIT: actually...what build are you on, http://build.yu8.me:8080/job/GriefPrevention/changes suggests that build #283 fixed this issue.

Posted Apr 4, 2014Any reason I should use 7.8 over 7.7? Reading the comments seems to indicate that 7.8 is still very buggy, and from what I understand, more of a burden because of the overhaul and complexity. (Why? Why ruin the simplicity?)
I mean what blocks/items wont be protected if using 7.7?

Posted Apr 3, 2014I am currently using another plugin to manage horses which the players already are adjusted to using. I looked in the Griefprevention config but couldn't find much, is there a way to disable the Griefprevention managing of horses like stopping players from stealing other's horses? Thanks :)

Thank you for your reply. Currently I am using: B: 7.8-beta-b282 for CB 1.7.2-R0.3 Mar 02, 2014
but my players are not seeing the last login information. Have to mention that the server is on 1.6.4 too, not sure if that makes a difference.

Hi BryanChung. As far as I know, in the past (in version 7.7) only op was able to see the "Last login: XXXX (XXX days)" message/advice (when right clicking some claim with a stick). But today (with version 7.8) everybody (all your normal players, your ops and your admins) are able to see the above message. So, it is already done (it is not possible to remove this piece of info; all players see it); you do not need to change config. I hope this can help/assist you. Regards.

No, someone should update GP 7.7 because all it needs is a simple Frame protection fix, everything else works flawlessly with 1.7.x!
Oh, and it should be updated for the UUID update stuff on MC.
