CreativeControl is an complete and powerfull suite designed to provide almost full control over creative players, it was built to safely grant creative access to any player without letting them give/stole items, you can use it to make constructions, improve your vip packages and anything else related to creative. With per-world configurations and a full availability of settings and permissions, you can define every single function of the plugin as you want.

Posted May 15, 2013Hi, FurmingaHumana. Thanks for the great plugin work. I found a little contradiction in your FAQ section. Either the example config isn't set properly to demonstrate your point, or the following in the FAQ isn't written correctly:
Under #7. (Split perm system), you say "To enable all this, at settings.yml set Enabled to true and you are ready to go. When the player changes his gamemode to creative, he will be added to de "Creatives" group but not removed for his main group, the goal of this system is to add negative permissions to the "Creatives" group in way to block functions from other plugins like Essentials Signs."
But then in the example config, you have "Move: true" thus removing them from member and adding them to creative, if I'm understanding correctly.
So it seems either "Move" should be "false", or the FAQ should read "...added to the "Creatives" group and removed from his main group..." Thank you.

Can you fix it or at least tell me how i fix it? 22:28:48 [SEVERE] [CreativeControl] Plugin CreativeControl v5.9.6 has failed to register events for class me.FurH.CreativeControl.integration.SurvivalGames because org/mcsg/survivalgames/api/PlayerJoinArenaEvent does not exist.

Posted May 14, 2013Hi I've found an inventory glitch. If a worldguard region is set to Survival and the player type /gm 1 etc then their inventory glitches over to survival and keeps them in Survival.

I don't know... But if you put any command in the console, they works. For example, if I put "start" in the console, he send me : "[Multicraft] Server already running" And if I put "say hi", in the console appear : "[Server] Hi". Is strange.
And Pytohost Support doesn't knows.

You are using an outdated version of logblock that does not have worldedit logging, disable worldedit protection at worldName.yml or update your logblock.

When I remove CreativeControl from the plugin folder WorldEdit works fine. Also I have no issues with logblock.
Thanks for your reply, I very much like what you are doing but sometimes CreativeControl is a pain in the ass haha.

Posted May 12, 2013I am using worldguard blacklist, and i have this in the blacklist
What this is meant to do, if u are not familiar with the worldguard blacklist is, if a player trys to throw an EXP bottle (Regardless of their gamemode) they will be denied access, along with the message: §6EXP Bottles §cAre Not Enabled On LavaCraft
The problem i am having is, EXP bottles are only blocked for players that are OP, if a player is not op, they can still use EXP bottles as normal. I suspect this to be an issue with CreativeControl, as it did not start happening till some of the latest builds.
I am using CC 5.9.3

Chunk errors are painfull, you may wanna try Minecraft Region Fixer but I dont know if it works. I wish I could help more, but is been a long time since I shutdown my server and the tools i've used to fix it is not working anymore. Try to open a ticket with pytohost or a topic here in the bukkit forum.

You might be using an outdated version of LogBlock

Creative blocks are stored in an database, this database might be very slow if you have a lot of blocks or the database server is not local or slow. Since minecraft is mostly single-thread, if the database takes too much time to search for a block, the server will freeze until the search is done.
The queue will be used to do in another thread anything that does not require something in return like inserting or deleting so the server will not freeze if the database takes too much time to respond. If you set the queue speed too low and you have a lot of blocks to insert or delete, the queue will overflow and you might lost some protected blocks.
The cache is used to store some data retrieved from the database, this will avoid the work of having to go all the way up to the slow database and doing the same search again, and it will also compensate the queue, by instantly protecting new blocks while they are queued to be stored in the database. A small cache will significantly impact in the server performance, but a huge cache will required more ram.
