CapturePoints
Overview
CapturePoints is a team game where players attempt to get control of Capture Points. Players can select a class, which will give them different weapons.
Players can capture a point by standing near it. The more players who are on a point, the faster it will get captured.
Game modes
- Conquer - Both teams attempt to capture all of the points.
- Defend - One team starts with all of the points in their possession. The other team has a limited amount of time to try and capture them, in order.
Classes
Players can choose a class, each of which has unique items and abilities.
- Warrior - Heavy armor, strong weapons, but moves slowly.
- Archer - Powerful bow, and restoration potions, with a weaker sword.
- Spy - Can turn invisible, except for a set of "footprints" (transparent boots), speedy, but has little in the way of protection.
- Pyro - Immune to fire, has a flamethrower and a powerful fire-axe.
- Medic - Can heal other teammates. Not very strong 1v1.
Additional Features
- All properties, including capture points, game mode options, classes and class loadouts are fully customizable from a config file.
- Multiworld support
- Capture points show visual progress, in the form of colored blocks circled around the capture points.

Posted Jul 11, 2013When do you think this will be updated for 1.6.2? I've tried using the plugin as it is on my server, but it can't be enabled, because it is out of date. Will you be able to update the plugin so it works with 1.6.2 CraftBukkit builds?

Posted Jun 28, 2013It would help if you listed the commands on this page, as well as how a player gets his class. Is it through a command, or by a sign? In addition, will players be able to drop their items? Will player be able to craft while in the arena?

Posted May 6, 2013@Seaboii I updated for 1.5.2. :) Let me know if the error persists in the latest version.
@Katikitrak: Command configurable locations sounds like a good idea. I also don't plan on any mandatory SQL, but an optional scoreboard sounds like a good idea.

Posted May 6, 2013Damn. So excited for this. Could you make it so that the game is completely command configurable. For example: To create an arena: /ctp create arena1 To set red/blue spawn: /ctp setspawn red /ctp setspawn blue <- it will look at your location To set point: /ctf setpoint
Maybe some join signs, similar to super spleef. Please try not to make this sql based, my sql server is already packed :/

Posted Apr 10, 2013Game Mode Suggestion: Ever played WoW? The Arathi Basin Battleground. Each team starts off in a map with 10 or so places to capture. The more places they capture, the more points they get.
