ZOMBIE INSANITY
Quick Description
This is a MineZ-like plugin that mostly enhances zombie survival servers. This plugin provides a thirst feature, visibility feature, and configurable potion effects zombies can inflict when they bite. There are several more features, and you can check them out below.
I WILL NO LONGER BE UPDATING THIS PLUGIN. Updating the plugin is up to whoever else. If you download it, the source code is in the .jar file. I have moved on to a more important (to me) project.
Features
Current Features:
- - All features listed can be turned off in config
- - Disabling other mobs from spawning
- - Make zombies spawn in place of other spawns
- - Cause potion effects to people/villagers damaged by zombies
- - Random chance for zombies to spawn with helpful potion effects (resistance, strength, etc)
- - More specific options for forcing zombie spawns
- - Thirst bar
- - Visibility levels
- - Resistance (non-fire) ability for zombie spawns
- - People in creative do not lose thirst
- - Chance that you experience bite effects
Problems/Help

THE NEW .JAR REQUIRES THAT YOU DELETE YOUR OLD CONFIG & SETTINGS AND RELOAD YOUR SERVER!
I changed up the config again (sorry), but I think you will find it much easier to use.

Posted Jul 9, 2012Just an update for you all, I have added the visibility checking feature, just need to apply it to zombie tracking and that will good. Thirst is going to be my next project. I will probably release both at the same time.expect these within about 3 or 4 days or sooner. Sorry about the crap grammar, I am typing this up really fast

Posted Jul 8, 2012Unfortunately, the new features don't work for me. There are no console errors, or any signs of it being broken either. The old features work though, zombies still don't burn, and potion effects still work. I've tried speed settings from 2 to 500 and none make a difference. The thirst doesn't work either.
I hope this is fixed or someone can help me because this is a really great plug-in. I am 14 and have some basic javascript knowledge, and I admire your work.

Complete suggestions List (Will pay up to $50 for this to be released promptly and privately to me), if you don't want to release it privately I will pay up to $25 for it.
Suggestions:
1. Visibility is shown by your xp bar, as seen here: http://gyazo.com/71b48e30ed65244938e2bbab659c6a85 . Sneaking gives low visibility, walking medium, and sprinting high. Rain and being behind objects from the zombie lowers visibility, as does night. For example visibility affected by rain and nightime: http://gyazo.com/924013c7340c3f14f47683df6aa418f2
2. Tieing into visibility, zombies aggro distance is changed. For sneaking, it is already definable (Default 4). Add aggro distances for walking (Configurable) and sprinting (Also Configurable). So basically, zombies can find you from a farther distance when sprinting and walking. Like sneaking: 4, walking: 10, and sprinting: 25
3. Ability to modify zombies movement speed and reach distance. Simple values, multiply their running ability and reach distance. I would use Monster Apocalypse but it is bloated, ruins my spawns, and zombie speed multiplying is choppy as hell.
4. Auto refilling chest. Ability to place a chest down and use a command (/zi chest) to make it an auto refilling chest. Back in the configuration, you can define items that will refil in the chest and the chance they have.. Also, limit the amount each chest has. For example, if I want every chest to have at least one item, I would do chance1: 100. For lesser and lesser chances of higher loot, I would do chance1: 100 chance2: 75 chance3: 50 and so on. Also, players must be a configurable distance away from these chests before they can refill, and you can configure an interval at which they refill. It will notify players when they are too close for chests to refill.
5. Finally, I would love a 'thirst' feature. This would incorporate the use of the xp 'level' gui. 20 is max thirst, 0 is lowest. When you hit 0 thirst level, you start to get hit with 1 heart per every (X) seconds (Configurable). You must drink a water bottle to replenish thirst. At night, thirst depletes slower. The monster apocalypse plugin has an option for increasing zombie speed. The config allows for only some of it's features to be enabled. My guess is that's what the server is using.
