What about you add the correct permissions to the groups/players you want to use the commands with :)

buycraft works buy inserting commands thru the console remotely, the command just has to have the player's name in the command somewhere. it would allow for ppl to use real life money in games

There are indeed some poker hand evaluators out there but they are all quite confusing to use and I haven't fully looked into their use yet. And even with that, I would have to check for multiple conditions during pot paying, so I will wait with that feature for a while :D

Posted May 11, 2012Hey Norbo,
Ya, I am sure an automatic hand evaluation would be an absolute nightmare to code :), but if you ever get it done, let us now. Maybe there is an existing java poker game where u can utilize their call.
all in all, really impressive plugin

Yes, any permissions system works.
@thejedibob
Glad you like it :)
The server cannot own the tables, since the pot has to be paid by the table owner. Maybe this is possible once I introduce automatic hand evaluation (IF I ever introduce it, since its so complex). Regarding the time-out, that's what I made the /table kick command for. It returns the player's stack and kicks them off the table. Maybe in the future i could add a time-out though. Lastly, the auto-pay feature is purely dependant on automatic hand evaluation, and once again it will be a while before I even consider it.

Posted May 11, 2012Very Very cool plugin. We used it with Java6.
It would be good if the server could own the tables and also if there was 60 second timeout for each players turn. The last thing we noticed that would be a great improvement would be if the table autopaid the winner.
Other than that GREAT plugin, has GREAT features!

Now that you give me the error message, I can help you :) If you update to to Java 7, and change your .bat file to run from Java 7, then it will surely work.
Here is some info on how to do that: http://wiki.bukkit.org/Setting_up_a_server
It seems that whenever I release a plugin, everyone always has problems, because they use Java 6. Next time I will probably compile in Java 6 to avoid these errors.

Posted May 10, 2012Norbo,
Thanks for checking. I have had 4 seperate users, try on 4 seperate servers. I have tried over 5 different bukkit builds and CB++ builds. No dice. The folder does not generate and commands do not function. This was the case for all the users.
If you would like to add me to skype : "stickmenz" I can show you what each user tried.
Here is a screenshot to the server error message: http://files.enjin.com/125661/UP-error.jpg
Let me know how you make out.
Cheers,

Very weird, it's been tested on two servers already and its working perfectly. It must be on your end. Maybe try running it with a fresh Bukkit build? Do you get any errors or even a message from the plugin?

Posted May 9, 2012Hi there,
We are very excited about your plugin.
Hate to say it, but does not work in 1.2.5-R2, nor R1. All 3 of our plugins devs tried loading it on three seperate servers. We made sure to have vault and we have essentials ECO. No UltimatePoker folder creates, which could be the problem. No commands work, plugin is not seen as active.
Hope you get it figured out! :)
Cheers,
Stickmenz

I'm really not sure what you mean. If an economy system which you use is not supported by Vault, you won't be able to use the plugin.

It can kinda support buycraft if you setup so people can only acquire money by using buycraft and use it in the game. only thing is they wont be able to cash out with real money so a little pointless in that respect.

It's a Bukkit plugin, its made FOR multiplayer.............. And no, it doesn't support Buycraft, since Vault doesn't support it.
