This is a plugin that allows you to play sleek, automated card games, in Minecraft. It is an extremely easy to use plugin, and very convenient for users. It includes some cunning features, such as on-screen GUI (without any additional client mods or spout!), extensive configuration and customization, and more. It currently has support for Texas Hold'em Poker and Blackjack.
The only requirements for this plugin are:
- Vault
- An economy system supported by Vault, doesn't matter which. Tested on iConomy 6.

This plugin sends anonymous usage data (such as amount of players currently on your server) to http://mcstats.org/plugin/UltimateCards. No server can be identified, usage reports are fully anonymous. You can opt-out in plugins/PluginMetrics/config.yml on your server directory (set opt-out to true).
An auto-update feature also exists. If you do not wish for the plugin to check for and automatically download updates, you can opt-out in plugins/UltimateCards/config.yml on your server directory (set autoUpdate to false).

1) Not yet - when I add automatic hand evaluation (hopefully next update), then that feature will also be added.
2) Same reason as above - at the moment, yes, it's necessary for the creator to pay the winner. Automatic hand evaluation will get rid of that necessity.

I have decided to come back to this plugin, fix all of it's errors and maybe add the long awaited automatic hand evaluation.
However, I need your help.
I would be grateful if you could list all the errors you have been getting so that I can quickly pinpoint and fix them. With a plugin this size it's quite difficult figuring out what exactly is wrong and it would be very helpful to me and allow me to fix all the errors quicker.

You should make the card checking automated so the table owner doesn't have to do it. Also make the table owner the server so that everyone can use the table at all times!

I am really unsure of why that might happen. Are you sure you don't have any third-party plugins which could interfere with inventories/maps?

Server-ran tables are not possible, since there are is no automatic hand-evaluating available. It was the highest on the to-do list, but I've lost interest in further developing this plugin, so I'm not sure if it will ever be a feature.

Regarding the automatic payments, read up. Regarding the empty tables.. well, that shouldn't ever be possible. You can't have a table without a dealer. Who are you going to play against in blackjack, and who's gonna get the rake at the end of each poker round?

I've never experienced this issue... the thing with this plugin is, there are so many different circumstances which can break the game and it was really hard to test for them all.. if you could reproduce the bug multiple times, I could see what can be done about it, but if it just happens once, it can be very difficult to fix the issue as I need to know exactly what causes it in the first place.

But I'm encountering a problem.. every time the host of a poker game is eliminated, the remaining players can not play normally. They can check or bet but the game won't advance. Is this a known problem? If not, is there a known fix? thanks.

you really, really need to make this more automaticable...it's a pain in the ass to pay every wining round to a player...u need to make comparation with the wining and losing cards with "if" to make automatic payments.
Another thing, it's just really necesary to make a table with an owner everytime someone want to play poker/bj ?, why I just cant make a table, set it, and make everyone free to join even if there's no player on it...min player to start=2 ...

Posted Feb 5, 2013Is there any way of automating this plugin? I wanted to set up a casino for my server and obviously poker is required. However there doesn't seem to be a way to allow players to join always open tables run by the server, or at least getting the tables to have the same id's each time. Even allowing players to join table names as opposed to id's will allow me to make a work arround

Posted Jan 5, 2013Having an issue - I open the table and players get the map for the table. However, as soon as they open their inventory screen, the map dissappears. This makes it very difficult to play the game and is quite annoying. is there any way this could be fixed.

Posted Dec 17, 2012We tried playing poker (me vs. my friend) and when we type "/table start" it says that both me and my friend are eliminated. Any reasons as to why this is? and what can we do to fix this?

Something like /table delete tableID would help.
Also would it be possible to keep tables saved on the hard disk? In case the server reboots while a game is going on.

It would be impossible for me to place the map image outside the actual hand-held map. The commands are simplified enough and have lots of aliases you can use, for example /poker b instead of /poker bet. Having commands like /b, /c etc. would cause too many plugin conflicts. You can use command signs to make games join-able by right-clicking. Leaving the designated area should not remove you from the game, as people sometimes like to move about, etc.

Posted Nov 19, 2012Nice plugin. If i can give some sugestions. It had be awesome if you were able to put the map on the table and then have a map in your hand to see your cards. To create a tabel maby you can coporate whit this plugin creator http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/paintingcraft/ It may be hard to create a picture on a tabel so maby you can youst hang it on the wall and make a false sens of a 3d tabel in the picture. its ok that a game i complicated to create but it should be easy to play. Maybe you should simplify the commands like /b 50 = Bet 50 /c = Call /d = Draw /a = all in /f = Fold And if you wanted join a game right clicking on a sign instead of using a command. and if you want quit just leave the designated area.
