TerrainControl is an advanced world generator. Through various configuration files it gives the user control over almost every aspect of Minecraft terrain generation, with no knowledge of Java required. It can be used on Bukkit or Forge servers and on singleplayer with Forge. TerrainControl is the successor to the old PhoenixTerrainMod, which was based on the popular BiomeTerrainMod.

Metrics
As of Terrain Control 2.4.13, the plugin sends some stats to mcstats.org, a service by Hidendra and others. You can view the stats here. Terrain Control won't upload your configs, it will only send your BiomeMode along with some information of your computer. You can toggle it off by setting opt-out to true in the metrics config file. More information is available on this wiki page.

How to use

TerrainControl is more complex than most Bukkit plugins, so it may take a while to get into - but the results are worth it. If you want to create your own world, be sure to check our documentation. If you have done some reading and still have problems using TerrainControl, just post to our forums and we'll try to figure it out.

Look at the links in the post directly below yours and you will find two links to two builds for 1.4.2 - I won't write the same thing again and I will delete all further posts asking for the 1.4.2 version. I`ll report here when an official build is released, until then you may try the experimental builds I linked below.

A new topic for a quick question like this wouldn't make sense, so I thought a quick answer here would be appropriate. This wall may not be suitable for extensive support but as it isn't possible anymore to hide it completely we might as well use it for updates about the status of the plugin and stuff like that.
@all: TC isn`t officially updated to 1.4.2 yet but there are experimental builds by RTB and Rutgerkok avaible - use them at your own risk! An official build will follow soon. For bug reports or questions contact the authors of these builds, not the Khoorn. I suggest waiting for the official update if you aren't an experienced user of TC.

There are a few unofficial builds, you'll find them in the forums on the dev version topic. The main branch isn't updated yet, mainly because some features are in the works that aren't really stable yet.

(Disabling Clay patches as "Ore" nuder the earth and making it very small in oceans / rivers and only occasionally spawn it on beaches)

EDIT:Well it looks like you found them. But when I add the ores and try to join the game, I get Internal Server Error
I just really wish there was a tekkit supported version of this. This would make my dreams come true.

Posted Oct 12, 2012@Har88 Those settings are now in the BiomeConfigs. If you have an old world, Terrain Control will automatically move them.

Posted Oct 11, 2012EDIT: Nevermind, I just did an IDmap dump from the NEI menu in-game. That created a .txt file in my .minecraft folder and now I just gotta go through it to sift out all the unique tekkit ids. BUT...if anyone can help, how do I enter rubber trees properly into the resource queue?
@rutgerkok, or @anyone who knows...
Can you please provide a full list of all unique tekkit block ids for TC 2.1.8? Where do I find them?
I want to edit just the resource queue for tekkit biomes.
This link: https://github.com/Wickth/TerrainControl/wiki/Tekkit Shows block IDs, but then in your example you use Ore(249,10,20,100,10,70,STONE) Ore(248,10,20,100,0,40,STONE)
What is "Ore(248,..." ?!?!
Thanks,
Hanthion

There is, at least for the multiplayer version. Tekkit is still at Minecraft 1.2.5, so you need to use an old Terrain Control version. More information at:
