"My initial opinion of having my own server was that players would get along. Boy, was I wrong. Only 2 days after my server's release, I already had 7 players who duped Gem Armor and blew up spawn about a trillion times. After setting gem armor to a certain rank, they then torched my spawn. After disabling most of EE until a certain playtime rank, they then found their own way around my disabling plugin. (noitem)

Features
Crash Prevention
- Prevention of certain server crashing Tekkit Classic problems, like REP's in a deployer
Ban Items and Blocks
- Ban items and blocks from vanilla Minecraft AND from any mod installed.
- Customizable messages for why something is banned (v1.19+)
Limiter
- Limit the amount a player can place of a specific kind of block.
Limited Creative
- Prevent the use (left/rightclick) of certain items in creative.
- Make players unable to move valuable items over from creative to survival.
- Prevent interaction with other inventories in creative.
- Prevent the dropping of items in creative.
Limited Interacts
- Disable the right/left clicking with items.
- Highly customizable: Prevent clicking on a block/in the air/in safezones.
SafeZones
- De-charge EE "Tools" upon entering a marked SafeZone.
- Remove most entities in SafeZones. (not including dropped items, vehicles, players, etc.)
- Force Ring of Arcana into "Earth" mode to prevent griefing.
- Advanced integration with WorldGuard and GriefPrevention to mark all regions or specific ones as safezones.
- Basic integration with Towny, Factions and PreciousStones to mark all regions as safezones.
Smelting/Crafting
- Remove smelting recipes
- Remove crafting recipes
- Prevent the crafting of banned items and warn players so they don't waste ingredients.
- As of v1.19, Tekkit Restrict can prevent crafting of banned items in ALL crafting tables, including project tables and automatic crafting tables, by integrating with forge.
Max EU
- Set the maximum EU charge Electrical IC2 items can hold.
- Change the speed at which Electrical IC2 items charge at.
EMC Value Changer
- Set, change or remove EMC values from any item or block.
Anti-Dupes
- Ability to set a command that will be executed after someone has duped x amount of times.
- Anti-Dupes for:
- RM Furnace Dupes
- Alchemy Bag + Void Ring/Black Hole Band Dupes
- Transmutation Table + Klein Star Dupes
- Tank Cart Dupes
- Teleportation Dupe
- Project Table + 2 players Dupe
- Automatic Crafting Table Mk. 2 + Mining Laser/Mining Turtle/BlockBreaker Dupes
Anti-Hacks
- Ability to set a command that will be executed after someone has hacked x amount of times.
- Anti-Hacks for:
- Speed Hacks
- Fly Hacks
- Forcefield Hacks (hit players out of range/out of your field of view)
Logging
- Split the server log output into various other files.
- Filter out certain messages so they don't show up in the console.
- Log the usage of EE Tools
Other
- Prevent the use of certain Gem armor abilities
- Forcefully unload chunks when the total number is getting too high.
- Prevent the placement of certain blocks next to locked machines/chests, to prevent people from stealing stuff with buildcraft pipes.
- Display the server time used by each and every eventlistener on the server to see what plugins are causing lag.
- Open and modify the alchemy bags and inventories of people, online and offline.
- Teleport to places where there are alot of items on the ground.
- Patch ComputerCraft to make sure people can't crash your server with ComputerCraft scripts.
- Set the minimum time for RedPower timers to prevent lag.

Dev Builds

Metrics
Tekkit Restrict uses Hidendra's plugin metrics system, and as of version 1.18 also uses TMetrics by Taeir. This means that the following information is collected and sent to mcstats.org and metrics.taico.nl:
- A unique identifier
- The server's Java version
- Whether the server is in offline or online mode
- The plugin's version
- The minecraft version of the server
- The OS version/name and architecture
- The amount of CPU cores
- The amount of memory allocated to your server
- The number of players online
- The Metrics version
If you wish to disable Metrics, you can do so by opt-ing out, which you can do in the Metrics config file under /plugins/PluginMetrics/
You can disable TMetrics in the General.config.yml file under /plugins/TekkitRestrict/
Auto-updater
Tekkit Restrict has a built-in auto-updater, which connects to BukkitDev to check for updates. If you want to change or disable this behaviour, you can change the update settings in the General.config.yml file.

I don't know how you got CBpp 76 to work, but I think most server owners run on build 75. Build 76 seems to cause a lot of conflicts. I think thats why you are running into some troubles, try moving back a build to #75 and see if it helps any.
Also if you implemented PermissionsBukkit, does that mean a more global compatibility for other permission plugins?
I'm stoked about the chunk unloader, that's why I am bugging you so much :P

Alright, I can log into the multithreaded server, I can do most things, but some others are still broken. I'm running 30 threads and most of them are being used efficiently. I am using 17 total Tasks for my 30 threads to run every tick.
I still have my work cut out for me =P.

Any news on alch bag dupe with void ring in bag? I found that is the only unpatched dupe so far. Everything else is working fine, my admin was testing the RM dupe as an admin with OP..
So every dupe but that one is fine.

You have to have a black hole band in one of your alchemy bags. Then try to throw items out of your inventory.

Typing /tr reload reloads successfully. (I had to do this as an admin, im testing the dupes as a non admin non OP player)
And yes, I am using PermissionsEX
EDIT: I just found out the rm furnace dupe is still patched, the only one Im sure isnt is the alch bag dupe. I have one of my admins helping me test, he should be able to help test this better than I can.
EDIT2:As far as I can tell the alchbag dupe is the only dupe that currently works in 0.6

Do you know why 0.6 Stable doesnt block any dupes? I've tried generating a new config and everything, but I can still dupe with alch bags/rm furnaces and I believe disk drives.
I seem to be the only one experiencing this so Im certain Im doing something wrong, but what that is I don't know.

Posted Sep 20, 2012heehee. I'm currently thinking of a way to split up the worldserver even more. I currently am having it automatically create [5+(#Worlds*2)] Threads. (If you run a server with 3 worlds, it would be 11 threads) I'm busy brainstorming a way to split up the chunks so the server manages maybe 1/3 of the chunks for 3 threads.
However, I'm also implementing my Chunk Unloader in the Tekkit.jar so you really don't have to have the chunks managed separately.

Posted Sep 20, 2012Hey there, I really like your plugin, and thanks for your work on it. It helped me a lot on my server, but i got some problems. Since I updated the plugin it allowed people to change grass into sand with a phillstone in the safezone areas and my users keep asking me about why the autocrafttable is banned, but I haven't banned it. I'm asking if it has something to do with the plugin and I have a problem with the safezones so I don't know if this is a problem but here's a picture: http://i.imgur.com/8HvfP.png Sorry if you feel that your plugin is being brought down but this is only for helping you and me of course. :D

Posted Sep 20, 2012I think any server owner who does SOME research on optimizing their server runs CBpp or Spigot. The growth rate limiter alone makes it 54 times better than regular CB (Tekkit.jar).
From what I understand, item merging made it into 1.3 Minecraft? Growth and chunk sending are the other huge perks that CBpp delivers. If you could bring the growth feature over, I would be ecstatic. Although...if your jar does turn into a truly multithreaded app, it probably won't matter much. We'll be able to use all 24 cores for more than just GC >:)

I run my Tekkit server using the CB++ .jar and was hoping I wouldn't have to choose between TekkitRestrict and CB++ as that would be nigh on impossible to decide D:

What exactly are you saying? Are you actually running Tekkit or just a CraftBukkitpp build? This plugin's sole and purposes is for making Tekkit "Better". However, I may port my performance tweeks for CB.

How will this new Tekkit.jar effect those of us running our servers on CraftBukkit++? Will that mean either sacrificing CB++ or TekkitRestrict, i.e. will it be one or the other or can we still use this new version with the regular (or CB++) Tekkit.jar
