Downloads
I'm too lazy to upload TARDIS files to Bukkit anymore, as builds are automatically created when the plugin is updated and changes pushed to GitHub.
Version specific downloads can be found here: https://tardis.pages.dev/download
Please make sure you are using the latest Spigot/Paper builds (for the Minecraft version you are running) before installing TARDIS or creating an issue!
What it does
TARDIS is a plugin that gives you the ability to create a Police Box that lets you time travel (teleport) to random locations. It adds a Whovian twist to the typical /sethome and /home commands.
As a player, you can:
- Create a TARDIS that is bigger on the inside.
- Time travel to a random location.
- Time travel back home (where you created the TARDIS initially).
- Save and list interesting time travel locations, so you can return to them easily.
- Take companions with you when you time travel.
- Make your TARDIS blend in with the Chameleon Circuit.
- Use your own schematic to build the TARDIS interior
- Grow new TARDIS rooms
- Use Artron Energy
- Remote control the TARDIS
- Custom TARDIS sounds with companion Resource Pack
- Custom TARDIS textures with companion Resource Pack

Installation
As a minimum, just drop the TARDIS.jar, TARDISChunkGenerator.jar (look under Additional Files on the download page) and any optional plugins listed below into the Bukkit plugins folder and start your server. For more detailed instructions see: https://tardis.pages.dev/installation-v5
Optional installs
These are not needed for TARDIS to function, but enhance the plugin with extra features...
- Install the TARDIS-SoundResourcePack in the Minecraft client to hear custom TARDIS sounds
- Install the TARDIS-Resource-Pack to see aal the fancy textures and models (requires TARDIS v4.2 or higher).
- Install the TARDISChunkGenerator plugin so that you can generate TARDISes in their own self-contained world (included on the TARDIS plugin download page under Additional files).
- Install WorldGuard to automatically protect your TARDIS from griefing, and stop mobs spawning in TARDIS worlds.
- Install TARDISWeepingAngels to add some Whovian mobs to the game.
- Install a Permissions plugin, so that you can restrict or grant players the rights to use TARDIS’ different features. We like PermissionsBukkit.

Bugs / Requests
Please post a ticket for TARDIS plugin requests and bugs, thank you :)
WARNING: I am no longer prepared to waste my time looking at incomplete tickets. If your ticket does not follow the guidelines set out below, it will be deleted immediately!
Make sure you have read the FAQs first, as your question may already be answered there. Also make sure you have searched for a previous ticket with the same/similar issue (use the Filters to search closed tickets).
If you are going to create a BUG ticket you need to supply relevant information (as I'm not a mind reader, nor do I have access to your server...) - as a minimum you need:
- Exact CraftBukkit version i.e. NOT 'the latest' - use the
/tardis versioncommand if possible, otherwise copy from server log - Exact TARDIS version i.e. NOT 'the latest' - use the
/tardis versioncommand if possible, otherwise copy from server log - The server log showing the entire error (as a paste or at Pastebin - NOT a screenshot) - this should be the log from when the server starts up right through to when the error occurs
- If no error in the log, then a video of the bug happening or the EXACT steps needed to reproduce the issue.
- Attach your plugins/TARDIS/config.yml file or other configuration file if relevant
- Attach your plugins/TARDIS/TARDIS.db file if relevant
- List of other plugins on server
Stats
Basic statistics are collected for some versions of the TARDIS plugin (v2.5.8 and earlier). You can opt out at any time by setting opt-out: true in plugins/PluginMetrics/config.yml
External web access
Version 2.8 (and higher) of this plugin includes a translation feature (the /tardissay command) that connects to the Lingva translation service.
You can prevent players from using the command by removing / not giving them the permission tardis.translate

TARDIS types are listed in order in the official documentation - they're not hard to find...
The error you posted has nothing to do with TARDIS, it looks like the version of VoxelSniper you are using is not compatible with Bukkit 1.7 you need to update it. Please check that your server is running correctly before posting -I'm only interested in TARDIS errors...

I am using version 2.6.3 and there are values in both the current, and next folder.
TARDIS deletion is still not functioning, either via admin command or sign deletion.
TARDIS will not travel to areas even when it has permission. (says no permission)
TARDIS travel button still not returning any values. (I don't know if it's relevant, as I don't understand the mechanics, but the next table values do not change when the button is pressed[assuming they should])
Thanks for the great plugin and long time support!

Also, I broke my TARDIS with /tt exterminate, "An internal error occurred while attempting to perform this command" popped up, my TARDIS still exists but the box is gone so I cannot enter it to fill it with energy to /tt rebuild. When I try to use the command to delete it, the same message pops up.
Here is a pastebin link to the error that comes up when I use the command: http://pastebin.com/tn2xU1sD

Where is the information on crafting each type of TARDIS? I have only been able to make Budget, Bigger, Eleventh, Deluxe, and Steampunk. Also, is there a list that puts the tardises in order from smallest interior to biggest?

Re your latest edit; it does sound like it hasn't got any values in the 'current' / 'next' tables
Would also help to know what version of TARDIS you are using...

Key behaviour is the same as SQLite as far as I know, but have re-coded it so that it now uses the config value, instead of the default database value. Will be in v2.7 build #513 and higher
When creating a TARDIS Artron Energy is set to 0, it is set to 50% when you initialise it by clicking the Artron Button with the TARDIS key. This behaviour is working correctly in my testing with MySQL. Did you edit the config by hand and forget to
/tardisadmin reload?I also cannot reproduce the travel button not working, check in the database that there are entries for your TARDIS in the 'next' and 'current' tables - if not copy the values from 'homes' table.

I don't know if this is a bug... or I missed something.
But, when I enable mysql information storage, the configuration settings are ignored when a user creates a TARDIS. (their default personal settings do not mirror the config)
Example: I create a TARDIS and add a companion who has not created a TARDIS. (Default key is AIR). I have to use a STICK to enter the TARDIS, but my companion needs to use AIR.
Example 2: Default Arton max charge is set to 500,000. I create a TARDIS. I look in mysql database. Max charge for MY TARDIS is only 10,000.
Is there somewhere else I should be putting these default values, or is this a bug?
Thanks!
Edit: ALSO, it seems the Travel button is not setting a destination in the latest version either, no error, no anything, I've even tried /update button and the command says it was successful, but still nothing when I click the button.
Edit Edit: Deleting a TARDIS gives an error saying "Could not get TARDIS save location!" And trying to use the admin command returns an error in console.

/tardisadmin delete [player]@_DaBeagle_
I noticed sounds weren't playing on a server running 2.7 yesterday, but switching back to my test server, straight after they were... The code to play the sounds is unchanged between 2.6 and 2.7 so it looks like I need to do some deeper investigation.
Can you start a ticket and attach your custom_preset.txt file so I can take a look.

i dont know then. Is there anything besides the resource pack that you need for the sounds? I get all the sounds on a 2.6 server, but the moment I go to a 2.7 server -silence-.
while im asking questions, is there a trick to getting the custom_preset to work? i made the preset, then I renamed it to custom_preset.txt, but whenever I use it, the blocks all turn to air.

The crafting grid is in a crafting table...
@dtmullican
I guess I could put up a donate link, but it's never really been about that for me, so I probably won't, I get Curse points for every time someone downloads the plugin, so as an alternative, even if you don't use it, you could download all the new versions anyway :)
@sbongbob
Ah, spongbob, you are an endless source of amusement. When you click the scanner button it shows you information about the current/next TARDIS location - and then teleports you into the Exterior Rendering Room... try reading the chat text on the screen next time you watch the movie, it says 'Stand by for transmat...' just before it zaps you away
@_DaBeagle_
The latest TARDIS build works just fine with the sounds in the Resource Pack (however the Bromley Massive RP from my DropBox is not currently up to date with all the latest sounds). But this pack is: https://github.com/eccentricdevotion/TARDIS/blob/2.7/TARDIS-ResourcePack-0.10.zip?raw=true
Have also noticed that sounds do not work when using Spigot, though I must test that again in case I was doing something stupid...

Posted Dec 26, 2013In 2.7 beta, what is the sounds file name for the sonic screwdriver? in bromely theres a file called sonic_screwdriver, but I imported that into my pack and it still doesnt seem to want to work. EDIT: nevermind again, it would seem that the bleeding edge build has no sound effects in general, unless i installed it wrong (which is highly possible)

Wow...you're quick :) Unfortunately, I can't run the newer builds, as we're runing MCPC Plus which is still on 1.6.4. I solved it by turning off the block requirement, although I really wanted it for balance reasons. Some of my users would never have figured it out.
ARS is great, btw.
Any reason you don't have a donate link? *hint* *hint* ;)
Thanks again for the great plugin.
