Survival Games is a plugin that has the aim of creating a fully automated hunger games style experience. The plugin was created to be simple to use, and to be easily setup on any type of server, no matter the size or type! Survival Games provides a way for your server to have a full fledged, fully automated hunger games experience for any player. Requirements

Before installing this plugin, a few things are required.

WorldEdit- Needed to create arenas.
MySQL Database (optional) - If you wish to use stats, you must have an SQL database.

Conflicts

Any plugin that modifies damage amounts by applying more damage can sometimes cause issues and make the player actually die (ie McMMO).
Some locking plugins such as LWC have been reported to have issues with the lobby signs, but should work normally if protection is turned of for those signs.
WORLD PORTAL will make this plugin completely break if the lobby is not in a world that is loaded at start!

/sg setlobbywall was changed to /sg addwall <arena> in versions 0.5.0 and above!

New Permissions:

If you have for example 6 arenas, and you want every player to be able to join all arenas, give each rank the following permissions:

sg.arena.join.<arena#> (Replace <arena#> with the arena number.)
sg.arena.join
sg.player.vote
sg.lobby.join

Note: Devs and important people of this plugin have colored names on lobby signs

The permission is sg.kit.<kitname> (without s) and if you would like enable it, in "kits.yml" put in "True"

This occurs for the new version. You must delete your "messages.yml" and the plugin will reload again it.

And if you would like appear kits, it's sg.kit.<kitname>

Everything is enabled and works but the signs wont let me right click! I cant join any games yet the signs say Arena 1 (players:0/24). Please help, i recently updated and deleted the config and messages files. Help its urgent. and also it doesnt say No Permission when I right click as op.

Hmm. I cant find the permission to allow users to see kits... I know its sg.kits.<kitname> But how do you show the kits?

Hey Guys! May anyone help me! :D

I'm using SurvivalGames 0.5.8.42, and most of the messages are causing me errors, because they can't load the message for the specified action, example:

2013-06-11 20:28:31 [INFO] Failed to load message for messages.broadcast.gamestarting

And it's causing me some more errors, here the Server Log: Link

ok i cant for the life of me figure out why my players cant join any survival games map i create they have the sg.aena.join.* permissions node but it still tells them they dant have permissions please help im using uptodate plugin with groupmanager

hello,

i love the plugin but for some reason i can't disable the lightning,

and still it is disabled but the lightning is still there if someone dies :/

endgame:
players: 3
fire-lighting:
enabled: false
interval: 20

Someone Please Help! I have asked so many times and No one is replying :(

Whenever Someone joins or leaves the server Survuval Games checks for updates and then fails, not allowing people to join the server for a minute! This is really frustrating! Anyone else having this issue, is there a way to stop the plugin checking for updates? Thanks if someone can reply! <3

You need to add permissions for players !

New Permissions:

The problem with your videos is that there is already several videos out there that shows this.

There is a video for how to setup the arenas already in here, just click the setup button.

For permissions I would recommend this one as it explains it way more in depth.

The problems that we have has not yet been sorted out. But as it says ontop, he is updating this page for the new version.
