Movecraft
Movecraft is back home!
Thank you all for supporting SpoutTransport. We are now finally starting to see the light at the end of an extended tunnel. With the new update looming, although still very not finished, we have merged back into the original move craft.
Please use the normal move craft page.
ci.countercraft.net is still going to provide the latest builds when we start building the new version finally.
Donations are still welcome, and the button at the top of this page will leave a much appreciated donation to the move craft project.

The problem is that the info says "item" while its a stick - we better change that so its not misleading! =)
Oh, and any chance to get the control signs working again? dlmarti had to disable them because of time pressure..

It is a bug but I know why it is happening and I will fix it. Fuel is going to be a module though.

I found it and altered it.
I'm actually really excited to see some of the modules that people create.
One more thing that I noticed someone else commented on a little bit ago:
When you have an engine(furnace) and you have it loaded with fuel and such and you right click to move, the coal and the item you're burning pops out and you only moved one block. Is that a bug? Or is there a reason for that?

Glad it works :D
I don't remember the exact config line, but the config will likely change massively with modules.

Have you tried using a stick, most people forget that's a config default.

Posted Mar 17, 2012Hi I put this plugin on my new server that I just madde a couple hours ago and when I right click with an item in my hand the craft doesn't move at all.
I do the commands and all that as I have used this plugin before when making other servers. However I did not use this specific version or copy. The latest I used was the plugin manager that you took this over from.

Could you file a bug report with a screenshot on the issues sections please?
Also signs will be coming back as a module.

Posted Mar 17, 2012Awesome work!
Just saw a strange bug with the latest version moving a craft with the "move" command large distances....sometimes some of the blocks of the craft randomly changed to other block types (like dirt, coal ore). As long as I then moved it with the stick before releasing everything goes back to normal though.
PS - although the movecraft signs don't work you can get around it by using the SimpleCommandSigns plugin (which is great for using the /move command more effectively too).

This is something I will make possible as a module, I may even make the Module, but I will not be implementing this into Movecraft core. The Module system is designed to take Movecraft to it's very basic level, possibly even remove crafts. This would allow people to add anything they want, such as fuel or block damage on contact.

that would suck. people spend a lot of time making their crafts. having to repair it every time there's a server lag spike? No thanks.

Posted Mar 16, 2012It would be cool if the movecrafts could slide a bit and get damaged if they crash into other blocks :)

What do you mean the mob API?
Spout will add immersion things like engines, this will only be added by a module, movecraft will be independant.

Yes for now all is the same as the old system for configs and perms.
Changes will come with permission likely becoming modules so we can support all the different permissions systems.

You right click with a stick and nothing happens?
