Movecraft
Movecraft is back home!
Thank you all for supporting SpoutTransport. We are now finally starting to see the light at the end of an extended tunnel. With the new update looming, although still very not finished, we have merged back into the original move craft.
Please use the normal move craft page.
ci.countercraft.net is still going to provide the latest builds when we start building the new version finally.
Donations are still welcome, and the button at the top of this page will leave a much appreciated donation to the move craft project.

There is support for PEX, but VariousArtist is the one to ask. I believe the node for piloting an aircraft is "movecraft.aircraft.pilot"

Posted Mar 21, 2012I can't get the permissions to allow my default members to use any aircraft, can someone make a more clear guide or confirm that it's an issue

Yep any block with inventory, including crafting benches and furnaces are liable to break.

Yes dispensers, chests, furnaces and craft blocks will all work post rewrite. We have got code for them on the ground, but its causing lighting errors, we are working for a solution.
Unfortunately, I cannot make Armageddon work. The developer will need to make Armageddon into a module should he wish to continue supporting move craft. If he contacts me, I am more than happy to explain what he needs to do.

Posted Mar 19, 2012Hey AJ. I know your swamped. But I have a question. In the re-write will dispensers be allowed on crafts again? and will you make it work with armageddon?

Can do! I'll just tell everyone the signs are out of commission for now. It works pretty well once I figured out how to configure it. Good job guys!

Unfortunately, we have had to suspend sign functionality for the moment. Move craft is currently undergoing a complete rewrite, so please be patient as we try to restore features and implement API's

Posted Mar 19, 2012EDIT: Sorry for the confusion, I figured it out.
That being said I still have a question: Is there a reason the signs are no longer working? Is this command-based only or do I have to redo my signs?

There is a chest on your craft. That has nothing to do with magic spells. remove the chest.

If you haven't disabled use a stick instead of any item, your test is invalid. Otherwise I would request a full error log.

Posted Mar 19, 2012Just a fast drop-in about permission nodes:
its pretty simple:
this is what our default members have. You need that per craft-type.
my "boat" here is a rename of the default "airship" so use the proper naming, ofc
- movecraft.movecraft.list
- movecraft.movecraft.types
- movecraft.movecraft
- movecraft.boat.info
- movecraft.boat.setname
- movecraft.boat.size
- movecraft.boat
- movecraft.boat.release
- movecraft.boat.pilot
full access should work with -movecraft.movecraft.* (not sure, I dont use it)
Remember that turning has no collision detection and can even break protected terrain of Towny/Factions/Worldguard! Striker is already working on that, so stay patient! =)
Also, a few of this perm nodes are interwoven, so you cant grant access to "pilot" without access to "info". Stupid, but we are working on that!
I will add the full info about the perms asap.

Posted Mar 19, 2012Okay check this out, by opening movecraft.xml file with notepad ++
I found this line,
<!
<TRUE/false> Only users with Bukkit-given 'op' can use craft.> <RequireOp>false</RequireOp>It was on true but I set to false, I still cannot allow non ops to use movecraft.airship or movecraft.boat.sail or whatever it might be.
The game just says I do not have permission. =(
