Movecraft
Movecraft is back home!
Thank you all for supporting SpoutTransport. We are now finally starting to see the light at the end of an extended tunnel. With the new update looming, although still very not finished, we have merged back into the original move craft.
Please use the normal move craft page.
ci.countercraft.net is still going to provide the latest builds when we start building the new version finally.
Donations are still welcome, and the button at the top of this page will leave a much appreciated donation to the move craft project.

Posted Mar 6, 2012Well, since the updated version of Movecraft you gave me conflicts with WorldGuard somehow, I suppose I'd be interested in getting a command based version of this for bukkit only. Too bad there's no sign use for turning craft on/off That was one of my favorite features in Movecraft...

Posted Mar 4, 2012This is always going to depend on SpoutPlugin, that does not mean it depends on the spoutcraft client.

Posted Mar 4, 2012Will this use the smooth block movement that spout plans to offer in the future?

Posted Mar 4, 2012I'm interested in the command based version for bukkit only, this is the comment I'm leaving. ^.^
Anyway, sounds like it's going to be a cool plugin. I don't want spout on my server due to the amount of people that refuse to get the client, but if your going to to make a bukkit-only version then I'll definitely get that.

Posted Mar 3, 2012Very excellent idea AJC.I wish you the best of luck because MoveCraft's concept was such a great one,but its development fell into shambles.

There will be a commands only version, however the Spout plugin contains very useful classes that this plugin is built around. As such the plugin will be dependant on SpoutPlugin but not on the Spoutcraft client.

Posted Feb 29, 2012@ thetrueprime To clean up for Spout, Spout is a plugin the same as any other. Your users do not need spout craft to logon to the server, they would need spout craft for the cool client side features.
This will encompass all move craft features, through commands, however you will not be able to have the experience you would if you were using spout.
Now that bukkit has been left unsupported, this plugin will likely move to the spout server platform, a faster, better minecraft server using no notch code which will have quicker update times. Also as to your users using spout craft, it is a better client with lag reduction and many bug fixes, as a java developer, it is clearly a better client.
Hope that helped

Posted Feb 29, 2012Being VERY curious here,
Have a server, my favourite plugin being Movecraft, and I was just wondering how much of a difference this is to that, having to install spout and all. And what happens if the server has spout will someone not be able to go on if they don't have it( I would ask the people at spout but they seem quite busy)? Please help me also pm me a link to download?

Posted Feb 28, 2012@Qx2 Mine is aimed far more at a authentic feel achieved via spout, while yours appears to be more about movement of blocks.
May the best man win!

Posted Feb 28, 2012I wonder which of us first to offer a version to install on the server. The fact that two similar plugins we should raise their quality.

Posted Feb 26, 2012I would be interested in a command based version for bukkit only. I'm also looking for your MoveCraft fork, and I'm not quite sure how to compile from source.
