Shop
Shop allows users to quickly create shops to buy and sell items with little effort and no commands to type!
By simply placing a sign in front of a chest, players can create their own shops to buy or sell items!
IMPORTANT:
SHOP IS NO LONGER BEING UPDATED ON BUKKIT.
(You need to create an account on Spigot to view the link)
Features:
- No commands required.
- No permissions required. (But are supported)
- Shops visually display the item they are selling.
- Compatible with Tekkit.
- Plug and Play.
Have a question? Please read these first.
Optional Commands:
/shop list - displays how many shops exist on the server.
/shop refresh - refreshes the display items on all of the shops. (Requires operator permission)
Conflicting Plugins:
PersonalPickup
BlockPickup
Shop Permissions (optional)
shop.use - allows player to use shops
shop.create - allows player to create shops
shop.destroy - allows player to destroy shops
shop.operator - allows player to bypass shop restrictions and regulations
Shop is by far the easiest to use shop plugin to date and is also the most fun. People on your server will not be able to get enough!
This plugin uses an auto-update system which will detect if your plugin is out of date and automatically download the latest version of the plugin. Learn how to disable this service.
This plugin uses plugin metrics, which collects information and sends it to mcstats.org. You can disable this via /plugins/PluginMetrics/config.yml if you do not wish to participate in the data collection. Learn more about it here.
I have put many hours of work into this plugin and it is my hope than anyone who enjoys the features it brings to their server will donate.

It seems to only happen when there is a large group of them. btw here's a pic of the wall of shops i was talking about Twitter all the chests were shops.

Sounds great hope you solve it, without knowing to much about java and bukkit i cant help to wounder if not hit sign and get the interface when you trade with villagers could be away to solve it?

I will look into that also. Sorry I remember you reporting that earlier but when I was fixing bugs I only went through the tickets and forgot about it. It seems to be an issue with Bukkit because I only call methods from Bukkit that remove items from the inventory. I will do my best to find a workaround though.
I can test to confirm in a few days when my finals are over.

How about the selling exactly amount glitch? Geting nervous it somehow only me who have that problem when i see people talk like there was no problem in comment thread.

Posted Dec 14, 2013Ok I found this other thing that happens and its really starting to tick me off. When I set up a giant wall of these shops and everything is working fine. ( people can buy from them and stuff) but when I stop the server or reload it all but one shop is erased and the signs are blank! does any one know how I can possibly fix this?

Posted Dec 14, 2013I know we can replace the emerald by another item name, but can we put special price for special item : for exemple a shop like sell 1 diamond for 64 wood, and another shop with sell 1 diamond for 64 irons ?
We always have to replace the value in the plugin or ? Thanks for answer :p and sorry for my bad english I hope u've understood what I said :p

Hmm, that was strange, are you sure? Now i really have too triple check it, especial sense it was similarity with early version.
EDIT: No way, its bug! Latest dev bukkit 1.7.2 and only shop plugin and still issue. I post link to picture so you can see and confirm that its so for you as well. http:swedcraft.no-ip.org/buybug.png

Posted Dec 14, 2013You almost there but still issue with buy shop. It updated automatically, lovely but ...
Created a buy shop to buy 6 raw fish for 1 emerald, players can then have exactly 6 raw fish in slot 2 to 9 holding it in hand and hit sign multiplies times until suddenly have 5 fish and lots of emeralds. Know i wrote about this issue was back in 1.4 and that's why i had it disable on my server for a while now. I should had wrote it as ticket i guess, easy its gets forgotten. :)

Thanks! Im glad you like it! Be sure to update to 1.4.6 when it is approved by Bukkit. (It fixes some bugs that are in 1.4.5). It should auto-update by restarting the server so I would love to know if that feature works for you.

Are you using version 1.4.5? If so, item ids are no longer used in the config, instead the plugin uses new Bukkit standards by using material names. If you want to use iron as currency, change the line to "IRON_INGOT" (without the parentheses).

Posted Dec 13, 2013When I try to change the currency to iron, I replace "EMERALDS" with 265 (the item id for iron) and change Emeralds to Iron in the config file. But when I reload the server the plugin just doesn't work, I cant use the signs or the commands! Am I doing this wrong?

No you can keep it there. You will want to change the name to what you want your currency to be called though. (If you want it to be Dollars, change it from "Emeralds" to "Dollars")
