Shopkeepers

Set up custom villager shopkeepers that sell exactly what you want them to sell and for what price. You can set up admin shops, which have infinite supply, and you can also set up player shops, which pull supply from a chest.
It will also prevent any other trades with non-shopkeeper villagers, if you want it to.
For those who are simply looking for a convenient way to modify the trades of vanilla villagers (as an alternative to using complex Minecraft commands), the plugin also includes a graphical editor for regular villagers and wandering traders.
Basic Features
- Easily create villager shopkeepers that trade the items you want them to trade.
- Admins shops with infinite supplies.
- Player shops which pull supplies from a chest.
- Different types of player shops: selling, buying, trading, and selling books.
- Various supported mob types to represent your shopkeeper, sign shops, and Citizens (NPC) shops.
- Editor for regular villagers and wandering traders.
- Many configuration options.
- Translatable messages.
- Open source (Source code on GitHub)
Supported server versions
Shopkeepers supports the latest versions of Bukkit / Spigot.
Note that this plugin is created to work with CraftBukkit (or alternatively Spigot). Bukkit does not have an API for some of the things necessary to make this plugin work. This means that other server software (Tekkit, Forge, Cauldron, etc.) will not work with this plugin.
Other CraftBukkit or Spigot derivatives/forks might work, but are not officially supported. So if you run into issues while using those, try to reproduce your issue on a fresh and up-to-date Spigot server first.

Statistics
This plugin uses bStats to collect anonymous plugin usage statistics. This helps me to determine how many servers are using the plugin, which Minecraft versions it is used with the most, and to which degree the different features are used.
Here is a list of all currently tracked information:
- Common information: The number of servers using the plugin, the number of players on these servers, online mode, Minecraft version, plugin version, core count, system arch, operating system, server country, Java version.
- Shopkeepers specific information: Whether specific related plugins are used (Citizens, Towny, WorldGuard, Gringotts, other Vault economy plugins), number of shops, whether player shops are used, whether certain features are enabled in the config (ex. WorldGuard/Towny compatibility, Citizens shops, delayed saves, colored names, chest protection, removal of inactive shops, tax rate, strict item comparison, purchase logging, disabling of other villagers, ..), the number of worlds containing shops.
- All information can be publicly viewed here: https://bstats.org/plugin/bukkit/Shopkeepers/
If you want to disable bStats for all plugins on your server, edit the file plugins/bStats/config.yml, or alternatively disable it only for Shopkeepers by setting 'enable-metrics' to 'false' inside the Shopkeepers config.

Don't add the uuids manually (I assume they get removed again on the next save anyways).
I am going to upload a new version in about 5-10 minutes which might fix your issue. Completely untested though.

Did you find any clue of the problem of UUID on versions below 1.7 R3? I added manually the UUID of the owners but it doesn't work... :(

There is already a ticket about this: http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/shopkeepers/tickets/300-lightning-strike-event-error/
Good to know that you are having the same issue..
I don't understand how it can happen as well yet.. My current guess would be that it's some spigot bug. Though I don't want to report it to them until I know for sure.
I will probably add a temporary world-comparison check to that method in the next version, to prevent the error, until I know what is causing this.
Maybe you could give me the exact spigot version and a list of plugins you are using in the ticket I linked to above. Maybe there are some common plugins, which I can then look into in more detail. Especially plugins involving NMS code would be worth taking a look at.

Posted Mar 12, 2015Very occasionally, Shopkeepers appears to attempt to measure distance between two worlds when checking for shopkeepers near a lighting strike. I have no idea how, since you're only checking entities in chunks in the same world, but it happens about once or twice per thunderstorm for me. http://puu.sh/gxGK3/630bfe5766.txt

Thank you! You were correct, it was an issue with my patched Spigot build, I hadn't merged the recent ItemMeta changes in.

Which server version are you using?
I assume you are using something below 1.7 R3. I have a guess what the issue here is. I can look into it tomorrow.

This appears in the save file:
In every shopkeeper the owner uuid is "unknown", what must I put in there to fix it?
Thanks for the help, blablu... you're amazing, :9

Correct on the first point, and the second's appears to be the fault of my chat plugin, though it never conflicted before. I'll handle that on the chat end, it shouldn't be listening on LOWEST. Thank you!

You have very likely not enabled 'create-player-shop-with-command' in the config. So the command is always interpreted as admin shop creation, which expects the object type as first argument.
Your name regex works fine for me: I can create shopkeeper names with color codes.
@AetharanLevesque
Check if the owner uuid is correct as well.

Posted Mar 11, 2015Why everytime I reload the server players cannot access to their shopkeeper chest?
I have to transfer it manually every time the server restarts... any clue?
In the datafile the name of the owner is right, but it doesn't seems to work on the server.
Thanks for the help and continue doing this amazing work.

Posted Mar 11, 2015Started playing around with the new shops from 1.50, can't seem to get them to create right.
Using '/shopkeepers blaze trade' while pointing at a chest, the shopkeeper is created, but is an admin shop.
Using '/shopkeepers trade blaze' as outlined in the help results in "Unknown shop object type 'trade'."
Also, I have
which worked fine prior. I can no longer name shops to anything including a color code - did you change color code conversion to before the name regex check? That's fine, and could be a neat feature, but I didn't see anything in the changelog about it. It seems like it'd be rather more convenient to have a permission for it instead if this is intended behavior.
