Shopkeepers

Set up custom villager shopkeepers that sell exactly what you want them to sell and for what price. You can set up admin shops, which have infinite supply, and you can also set up player shops, which pull supply from a chest.
It will also prevent any other trades with non-shopkeeper villagers, if you want it to.
For those who are simply looking for a convenient way to modify the trades of vanilla villagers (as an alternative to using complex Minecraft commands), the plugin also includes a graphical editor for regular villagers and wandering traders.
Basic Features
- Easily create villager shopkeepers that trade the items you want them to trade.
- Admins shops with infinite supplies.
- Player shops which pull supplies from a chest.
- Different types of player shops: selling, buying, trading, and selling books.
- Various supported mob types to represent your shopkeeper, sign shops, and Citizens (NPC) shops.
- Editor for regular villagers and wandering traders.
- Many configuration options.
- Translatable messages.
- Open source (Source code on GitHub)
Supported server versions
Shopkeepers supports the latest versions of Bukkit / Spigot.
Note that this plugin is created to work with CraftBukkit (or alternatively Spigot). Bukkit does not have an API for some of the things necessary to make this plugin work. This means that other server software (Tekkit, Forge, Cauldron, etc.) will not work with this plugin.
Other CraftBukkit or Spigot derivatives/forks might work, but are not officially supported. So if you run into issues while using those, try to reproduce your issue on a fresh and up-to-date Spigot server first.

Statistics
This plugin uses bStats to collect anonymous plugin usage statistics. This helps me to determine how many servers are using the plugin, which Minecraft versions it is used with the most, and to which degree the different features are used.
Here is a list of all currently tracked information:
- Common information: The number of servers using the plugin, the number of players on these servers, online mode, Minecraft version, plugin version, core count, system arch, operating system, server country, Java version.
- Shopkeepers specific information: Whether specific related plugins are used (Citizens, Towny, WorldGuard, Gringotts, other Vault economy plugins), number of shops, whether player shops are used, whether certain features are enabled in the config (ex. WorldGuard/Towny compatibility, Citizens shops, delayed saves, colored names, chest protection, removal of inactive shops, tax rate, strict item comparison, purchase logging, disabling of other villagers, ..), the number of worlds containing shops.
- All information can be publicly viewed here: https://bstats.org/plugin/bukkit/Shopkeepers/
If you want to disable bStats for all plugins on your server, edit the file plugins/bStats/config.yml, or alternatively disable it only for Shopkeepers by setting 'enable-metrics' to 'false' inside the Shopkeepers config.

Posted Jul 30, 2013Noob question, can't seem to find anything obvious for it, but is it possible in the config to just enable anything to be used as currency from player shops, rather than just one item defined in config, which by default is emeralds.

I'm not sure if I understood the meaning of ur message but yes, this plugin can be used in 1.6.2 server but it duplicates sometimes your villagers and color codes are not working at all.
Basically you will end up having your shops and random villagers around the shops.

I am running the newest build and also the duplicating of villagers is not the "main" issue here, more likely the color codes not working.

Nvm about the not being able to trade with regular villagers thing. I also recently updated GriefPrevention and the new configs disabled Villager trading in unclaimed areas. Had to re-enable it there...my fault.
There is a bug in the v1.15.1 though...every time a creeper explodes in my world it throws and error in my console:

@MasterMithrandir
What you describe seems to be a bug I reported in May: http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/shopkeepers/tickets/133-villagers-running-around-with-shopkeeper-names/
It has since been fixed for me and I'm still not 100% sure what started and fixed it. I can only theorize. Are you guys running the latest build?
Also, I think nisovin needs a donate button.

I used this:
Make new region where you want it to spawn, make its priority 1 (/region priority REGION 1)
then add flag mob spawn allow (/region flag REGION mob-spawning allow) and spawn a shopkeeper :3

Posted Jul 25, 2013There are 2 issues: (1) characters support
Could you support and add that non-English characters ? name-regex: "[A-Za-z0-9 ]{3,25}"
(2) Size
When you hold the milk and shift+lift click to NPC then they will become baby size.

Posted Jul 25, 2013How can I get shopkeepers to spawn when WorldGuard blocks them?
WorldGuard has a configuration option to specify which mob types it blocks from spawning. The option is under mobs, called block-creature-spawn. If it is empty, you will need to add in all of the creature types you wish to block, making sure you leave out Villager. Another option is to set WorldGuard's block-plugin-spawning option (also under mobs) to false, but this may have other side effects.
Can someone go a bit more in detailed with this please?

Posted Jul 24, 2013Hi! Great job with the plugin, it's currently one of the most important ones on my server :)
Just one quick thing: Although I have other villagers disabled, they still keep spawning, not in the usual natural villages, but as clones from the villagers I have set as Admin Shops, with the same names.
I must say I'm still using 1.5.2, untill I'm able tu update my server.

it kind a works in 1.6.2.
Color codes are not supported and the villagers sometimes get duplicated (leaves the unharmed shop and normal villager which can be killed)
