I am testing this new page out. I am aware of some parts that are missing such as ship types, but please say if there is anything that you wish to see. I plan on making a FAQ's that includes common questions such as how to change ship requirements.

Ships 6 changes
Ships has gone through many changes, Ships 6 is the latest rewrite of the plugin. The latest rewrite fixes multiple bugs found in the root of previous versions of Ships.
Features
Moving ships
As the name of the plugin suggests, you can create your own ship and move it with just a single click.
Works with all blocks
There is a fully-fledged list where you can configure every block to react differently for the ships, including being able to add a block type to interact with Ships, detect it as a collide, and even not react at all.
Teleport to ships
There have been many requests to be able to teleport to ships for not only this plugin but others like it. This feature has been added to Ships, however, if it is something you do not wish, then you can disable to command by not adding the command.
Falling Ships
Ships will fall/sink if requirements are not met, this could be done through your own interaction such as running out of fuel, or by something else such as a TNT explosion.

Move the ship:
In Ships, movement is done by signs. You can see all signs here
Collide types:

| Detect collide | DETECT_COLLIDE | If Ships detects this block in the way of a ship moving then the ship will not move with the error of this block being in the way |
| Material | MATERIAL | Material means that you can build a ship out of this block and the Ships block detection system will detect it as part of your ship |
| Ignore | IGNORE | If Ships detects this block in the way of a ship moving then the block will break and the ship will take its place |

Posted Sep 10, 2012We put this on Eldercrest yesterday as a perk to the donators, already very popular!
Only issue I can see is while turning on some of the smaller ships, it has a habit of flinging you out into the abyss! Hilarious yes, and rather handy for getting rid of unwanted guests on the ship. But can be a pain sometimes, and players will always find out new ways of trolling on another, it would seem players not 'listed' as a ships operator can use the Wheel, engine and burner signs.
Other wise great fun! Superb addition to any server and one I will highly recommend. Brings a new edge to group pvp, we have had one large ship with an entire towny population aboard patrolling the sky, looking for potential victims/terrifying the residents already!

Same error here. I tried it out with older Bukkit versions, still without effect...
But I really love the idea of this plugin! I whas really searching for this. Maby you could add some more speeds, like one speed for landing (one block per tick, and one tick per second), one speed for travelling on roads (three blocks per tick, one tick every two seconds) and one speed for travelling verry far distances (100 blocks per tick, one tick per minute), so that you can work on your craft while flying and make stuff on it, so long distances dont get boring...

Posted Sep 6, 2012FYI...I upgraded to Ships 2.01 and noticed something odd. The burner goes out every few moves and has to be re-lit. I rolled back to the previous version and the problem disappeared.

Posted Sep 4, 2012Is it required that your airship have wool to fly? because i still cant change the value from wool to iron :/
Edit: The % change is working, but changing the required block to anything doesnt work, it stays wool.

The next release will be at the end or in the middle of this month. But sooner at the end.
I now have my own server (griefer.pl) running this plugin, and a lot of players who are testing it, thanks to this will be even better. Arm yourself with patience, because the new version knock you on your knees. I promise.

Posted Sep 1, 2012Hey Qx2 Thanks for one of the best plugins out there! I just have one question though. In the config for the mod It says I can change the required %'s and the required block types needed to make a ship/airship. When I change those though it remains the same in the server (Such as if I change the required block to iron blocks and make it 2%, In the server I will still have to add 60% of wool to it to make it fly.) I don't know if I'm missing something simple or not. Thanks again.

but wouldn't that also affect the 'engine' sign? they all work, just not EOT. and i can't find any blocks that wouldn't follow the construction rules

Some elements of the ship are not added to the vessel and cause collisions, see the section "construction" in the description.

Posted Aug 25, 2012I built a ship, and every sign seems to work fine except the EOT. when i attempt to use it i get the message "[ship] obstacle on the course", when there isn't one. any ideas why?

Posted Aug 25, 2012I have a very small issue. Whenever I move a ship that is in the water, it leaves a large hole in the water where the ship used to be. Not major, but it ruins the landscape. Any way to fill the holes back up with water automatically as the ship moves?
