ShowCaseStandalone is like ShowCase but without the dependancies, and a more efficient way to create shops. With SCS, you can buy, sell, and display items, which float above blocks. You can use most of the major economy and permissions plugins with this, along with some special options for Towny.
Development builds of this project can be acquired at the provided continuous integration server. These builds have not been approved by the BukkitDev staff. Use them at your own risk.

Metric
This plugin utilises Hidendra's plugin metrics system, which means that the following information is collected and sent to mcstats.org:
- A unique identifier
- The server's version of Java
- Whether the server is in offline or online mode
- The plugin's version
- The server's version
- The OS version/name and architecture
- The core count for the CPU
- The number of players online
- The Metrics version
Opting out of this service can be done by editing plugins/Plugin Metrics/config.yml and changing opt-out to true.

We're not showcase, just based on the same basic idea. We're not going to translate or emulate that plugin, since it does its own stuff fine. So if you want those features, go to Showcase for them.

We load all shops into memory, so if you have a lot of shops, that would account for memory on startup. However, we don't delete/destroy/reload/or re create those. so I don't think a mem leak is from us, unless its in Bukkit somewhere and we're inadvertently causing it. However, I help run a large server, and we do not have memory leak issues.

Posted Mar 10, 2012First off I have to say I love this version of the plugin, however I do have a concern with it. I have a memmory leak somewhere on the my server and I've been tracing it for the past hour. This plugin is on my list of possiblities, as it uses over 50mb of ram on startup alone. I'm just wondering if that is usual for this, or if it could possibly be an issue.

And is it possible to use the same menu as Showcase?
The one where you don't have to use commands and are able to buy other amounts than 1 or the "DefaultUnit"

Sure it does. In fact I use PEX exclusively. If you have a specific issue with SCS and PEX, post a ticket with the errors you are seeing.

Posted Mar 8, 2012I like this plugin, but would it be possible to make it possible to put signs on blocks that are set as a showcase? Currently, the text entry appears but the sign doesn't get placed.

Posted Mar 7, 2012Would it be possible to prevent items merging on showcases? I'm using bukkit++ and players can get free items from my showcases with merging on so i had to disable it now. But it would be great if you could make something so it wont be possible anymore.

Posted Mar 6, 2012Is there any possibility of getting /scs owner command put on to a separate permission as players can set up a buy shop for dirt at a high amount and then change the owner to someone else charging the new owner for the item. A possible exploit one of my players picked up on, unless I'm missing something?
