Runecraft
Runecraft is a gameplay modification for SMP, that adds magic to the game without any commands. Runecraft is the longest running Minecraft mod, dating back to the Alpha days. Runecraft boasts over 120 runes and is still under active development. Everything you need in one, immersive, magic plugin.
Magic is done through the form of "runes", significant shapes of materials laid out in the actual game world. These runes can create unique short-term tool enchants, teleporters, hidden walls/passageways, and even the ability to create mobile teleporting bases.
- Player built simple Teleporters that use unique combinations of blocks to identify destinations
- Specific enchantments for dealing with natural hazards (lava, floods, falling gravel)
- Magic blocks that flip between two blocks when you activate them, or reveal secret passages
- Redstone compatibility: allowing runes to be activated by redstone signals
- Multi-world support: all features are completely compatible with multiple-world servers
- Commandless setup: Runecraft is designed for minimum hassle in configuring it. plugin and go!
- Easy configuration: it's simple to disable a rune entirely, or a rune per person.
- Optional permissions compatibility
- Requires no client modification
Runecraft prides itself on its immersive nature, with no need for any slash commands. Everything can be done in-game by players, constructing the runes to create the effects they're looking for. Runecraft is an extremely popular addon for roleplay, PVP, and small servers because of it's out of the box ability to just be installed and start running, and covering a variety of pseudo-administrative and gameplay mechanics from an entirely in game point of view.

I seem to have a problem with the Pegasus Faith Rune, filling glass does not despawn for no apparent reason - does anyone have a similiar problem? I'm running Spigot at latest 1.7.9.

Posted Jul 24, 2014Is there still a torchless version of Bow of Light, where the arrows just glow for a while? I remember this being a thing a few versions ago, but it doesn't seem to work now. Also, not so sound impatient, but will there be a new release of the current builds to fix the Pegasus and Hell's Maw bugs, among others? Or will this not be done until the 1.8 release?

You need to add the class file names into the cncp.yml file, under the appropriate sections. Under player-class, add RunePlayer and RunecraftPlayer. Under block-break, add RunecraftBlockBreak. Under block-place, add RunecraftBlockPlace.
These are the ones I've added and we haven't had a problem since.

Posted Jul 14, 2014Either I'm stupid or this isn't compatible with NoCheatPlus or even it's NoCheatPlusCompat plugin. Anyone have any tips?
I've loosened off restrictions as much as I can without feeling open to abusers and have even disabled some NCP checks. People are mainly annoyed because they can't use the Pickaxe without getting kicked.
I believe I have the latest version of Runecraft and ncp + nocheatpluscompat

Posted Jul 8, 2014I have a bug to report with the latest version of runecraft, when using Hell's Maw it takes out the entire chunk (a 16x16) and when its supposed to repair the land it only repairs the central part of it not the entire chunk.

For the permissions it does exist to have per-rune permission nodes, yes. Look in the permissions section,
runecraft.runes.phantomtorch
would be your node for the Phantom Torch rune. No capitalization, spaces removed.

I've been checking out the problem that Sixela963 had in the latest dev mode for runecraft 2.20 DEV#1 for mc 1.7.9. the problem still exists so far as I've tested.
it only occurs when making a faith island and using the pegasus faith engine. from what I've tested it does not happen when using the faith transfer portal, and I've tried to different waypoints, so the problems seems to be limited to only making the faith island and using pegasus.
is this being looked at?
also wondering if its possible to get a better permission system for runecraft or if it exists that lets you get one permission node per rune?

Sorry I missed your post yesterday, but I do have an update on the situation. I deleted the Magic.dat file and the Waypoints file and allowed them to regenerate. After I did this I remade a couple teleporters/waypoints, and they worked fine... Right up until the server restarted, then it was back to spawning people in incorrect locations. I'm baffled as to whats happening here haha.

These builds should fix them. I have had 0 issues so far. Matter of fact, if you want there is a mediafire link on the Runecraft Minecraft Forum page on page 320 second post. It is a 1.7.2 build and it fixes the issue. It is C'tri's work so you will have to thank him! :)

Sorry to bother you I know your all busy, I remade the waypoints and teleporters like you suggested, however people are still being teleported far beneath the waypoints causing them to suffocate to death.
If you get a second and have any ideas on what I should try next, let me know!
