Regios
Current stable version: v5.9.9 for CB 1.6.2-R0.1
Regios, a fully fledged, extensive and extendible Region mod. Regios allows you to easily create regions with a vast amount of properties such as protection, entry & exit control, password protection, speed and health modifiers and much more! Regios is multi-world compatible and lightweight. More so Regios is open source and has a well documented API which will allow other developers to make add-ons to make Regios even better!
NOTE: Regios v5.0.3 and later now REQUIRES Vault for Economy and/or Permissions support. You can still use Regios without Vault but it will be Op or basic superperms only and without economy support.

Probably, I tried to get fancy with the bucket dump protection, but it turns out Minecraft calls the event I'm listening for WAY more than anticipated. I'm trying to stream line it, so hold tight.

There are block placement exceptions, but we don't have block break exceptions implemented yet. So you'll be able to allow players to place seeds, but they wont be able to break the wheat. Block break exceptions are planned for a future release though. I can't recall the commands off the top of my head, but search the wiki for Item Exceptions.

They'd still be square though, as chunks are square. And you'd end up with a ton of little regions if you tried to do that for a whole biome. We just need to hurry up and get polygonal regions working. :P

You know, there were some really old tickets about this exact issue. I had figured it was fixed since no one had said anything about it in such a long time. I have no idea why that would happen. I'll have to dig into the code and get back to you on that.

Question: what setting do i need to adjust when i get fall damage inside a region but outside i dont get hurt by falling
im really confused .. in my main world, i have a large region to protect my town and if i jump from a high building i get hurt by the fall. But if i jump off a cliff outside this region i dont get hurt.
in my pvp world i get hurt by jumping cliffs .. very strange.
if i disable regios .. all fall damage in the main world works

Posted Jun 20, 2012How about a claim option for admins so the regions are not square say like /r claim (Region) so that u only claim the chunk your in as the region so claiming an entire biome would be easyer

It will block everyone from leaving except players who are subowners or exceptions in the region or players who have regios.override.region1 or players with regios.bypass.region1 or players who have the regios.exceptions.exit.region1 permission node.

Is the other player a subowner or do they have the regios.override.all permission? You should only be able to delete a region if you are an owner, subowner, or have that permission node.

They should get an error that the new size is larger than they are allowed to create.

if a group is restricted with permissions to only create size35 .. what would happen to a region if a player in that group issues expand-max? would it expand to the players maximum size or would the player get an error message back?

Yeah permissionsbukkit has been... quirky as of late. Which is a real shame, because I really like it (and maintain a version for myself XD).
In theory you are correct, the only catch to that would be if you've given the player that permission node via a group. The remove permissions don't seem to work with PermissionsEX if the permission is assigned to the group the player belongs to rather than directly to the player. If you've given the player regios.data.create directly, then yes it should work.

do i use /reg perm-cache-rem-add testregion regios.data.create ?
this should remove the permission to create a region once inside and give it back when he/she leaves .. right?

You're not using v5.0.53 are you? The piston issue should have been fixed in v5.0.52.
