Were you able to do 1.4 crafting, such as a cobblestone wall, with Recipe Manager enabled? I had to disable Recipe Manager to get 1.4 crafting to work.
In view of the 1.4 Cauldron, does Recipe Manager still make sense to have?

Posted Oct 28, 2012If you have the time, please update and add the leather armor dying and map scaling because they were the only ones I weren't able to implement :D Maybe with 1 million recipes for dying? XD
Edit: All the other 1.4 recipes worked for me, so thank you very much for the plugin!!!

Posted Oct 20, 2012Hello It's me again ;w;! (The one who asked for 1.2.5ver of @override) I was using recipemanager with no problem after that, but all of sudden : I am getting this.
http://puu.sh/1gHn6
I was using this with no problem, and didn't even changed anything about recipemanager but this started to happen to me. sometimes if i spam reload enough or delete the whole /Recipemanager directory then /rmreload, it rarely works. but in that case, all the recipes from other mods (industrial, etc) gets wiped out for some reason (and yes I use nothing as recipe interacting thingy!)
tried compatibility = false and anything else that could be done in config file, but It's not working.. We've done nothing anything about recipemaneger but it suddenly started malfunctioning about ten days ago(and I also tried 1.24c, which should perfectly work since this is 1.2.5) but it also gives us the same problem.
And, after getting these errors - If we stop the server, we get Error disabling Recipemanager (is it up to date) with Nullpointerexception.
That was long story 'o'/ but anyways QAQ

Posted Oct 17, 2012In 1.3.2 R1 all crafts are multiplied by 3... so if i made a craft i get 3 instead of 1 item when pressing shift+clic 2-3 seconds. Try it...

The long grass item is a placeholder and the problem is that tekkit mod doesn't trigger the craft event so the item is not replaced with the actual one.
The default recipes are replaced by the plugin to allow customization, you can change that behaviour in the config but there's still a problem when adding new recipes.
This plugin needs to be remade using a diferent approach, I am working on that but currently it's on hold.

Posted Oct 11, 2012I had a very strange problem with the plugin...
When I installed the plugin, even with the default settings, one of my players' automatic crafting tables (Tekkit) went haywire and started churning out grass when given the usual 3x3 grid of diamonds to convert into diamond blocks. It appeared to give 128 grass per set of nine diamonds. Even stranger, the grass had a damage value of 1337, which leads me to believe that this was somehow put in as an easter egg.
I checked the configs and the recipe for diamond blocks looked normal, and using a regular crafting table worked fine.
It's similar to this error: http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/recipemanager/tickets/99-tall-grass-in-stacks-of-106-appearing-in-place-of-cobblestone/ Except that your reply implies that it's occurring for some reason relating to custom items, whereas the diamond block recipe is a default one...

No problem, you can change them as you like, just make sure they don't collide with existing item names.
You can also add new alias names as well.
@DayMC
I noticed you posted a ticket about that, I'll talk there.
@Folas1337
Well, /recipe searches in the custom recipes, the recipes added by this plugin.
If you didn't change any files from the "default" folder and "existing-recipes" is set to "replace" or "clear" in config.yml, then it should work... but try "/recipes piston" for partial match, and see what prints.

Posted Oct 9, 2012My users like to use "/recipe <name>" to look recipes up (they don't have to go to the wiki then). But there's nothing for pistons. Should be "/recipe piston_base" and "/recipe piston_sticky_base" but they don't exist. Could you maybe add them? I guess that might help people (I'll add that on my own though).

Posted Oct 7, 2012Well anyways I was messing around with this, put one log into a crafting bench, shift clicked, and got two stacks of logs. I know this is off, so I went to my config and did not see anything wrong. Help!?

Posted Oct 7, 2012Is there any problem if I change the names of aliases? For example, instead of: "OAK_WOOD: WOOD:0 PINE_WOOD: WOOD:1 BRICH_WOOD: WOOD:2 JUNGLE_WOOD: WOOD:3" put: OAK_WOOD: WOOD0 PINE_WOOD: WOOD1 BRICH_WOOD: WOOD2 JUNGLE_WOOD: WOOD3

No, not currently... maybe in the future, this project is currently on stand by.
@Luxius96
Either you use @groups: vipgroupname or use @permission: permission.node.here for a specific permission, either way, the recipe will require all of them.
The @anygroup can have be used to specify more possible groups, but @groups requires the player to be in all specified groups.
@Pentarctagon
Hmm, yes, I need to warn the user on invalid setting, thanks for the report.

Posted Oct 5, 2012Interesting issue, I accidentally put
existing-recipes: false
instead of
existing-recipes: nothing
which gave no errors, but made it impossible to cook any food.

Posted Oct 4, 2012I'm new to your plugin and wanted to ask if something is possible.
Suppose I have setup reverse crafting recipes (e.g. Iron chest -> 8 iron ingots).
Is there a way to look at damage to reduce the amount of ingots returned based on dmg value?

Yes you can, but you don't need to, Tekkit's item names are the IDs prefixed with an X... example: X1959 is the item with the 1959 id.
You should read the "readme.txt" file because it contains alot of useful information about the plugin's behaviour, apart from the basic and the advanced recipe stuff you can use.

Posted Oct 3, 2012Hey, just grabbed this plugin and I have one question, can I use the block ids instead of the name? This plugin is going to be used to block the Tekkit EE on my server.

Extraction not working on smelting, how exacly ? They should be last in that file.
And the data values thing is in the known issues :/ I can't do much to allow data values... does that even work on Tekkit servers, smelting recipes with data values ? O.o
If you remove the data value, that leaves the "already exists in your recipe files" thing... that means you already have that item as a smelting recipe.
And the patch link works just fine for me... I've uploaded it on dropbox for you: https://www.dropbox.com/s/pv37wbnysg0uqhn/RM1.26b_patch_for_MC125.zip
I'm not sure I fully understand what you're trying to do, but now that you can get the patch you can use the @override flag and change some existing smelting recipes (not ones already in your files).
