Currently it's not possible to use ingredients with enchantments. There's also a ticket about it, if you want more in-depth progress you should look there :} (Tickets tab).
@Notownz
I think you'll waste more time searching for recipes when you can actually make them the way you like :P
There is a very large amount of recipe combinations possible, listing all of them would take hours to look through.
But by all means, if anyone wants to share recipes, feel free. I just opened the forum on this page for just that reason - to share recipes, so go ahead :P

No, not really... I'm still searching for good ways of doing this... some tested methods crash the server (no errors, instant shutdown) sometimes, so yeah, it's not going so well xD It's complicated because repair recipes aren't actual recipes, they're hardcoded in minecraft code and I need to override that code.
But I still need to figure out as many options as possible for the feature... can you tell me what you had in mind for repair recipes ? :}

Hmm, there's no removal flag... yet, thanks for the idea. But for now, you could override them and make them impossible to craft... like level requirement 1000000000000000.
To easily get all existing recipes in this plugin's format, you can use 'rmextract' command, then take the recipes you want, add "@override" to them and "@minlevel: 99999999999 | This recipe is disabled." and that message so nobody will be confused why it has a huge level requirement.

Posted Sep 6, 2012Heya fellas. I've been looking for a way to get rid of the recipes from UU-Matter. Perhaps you've heard of it? It's from IC2. Anway, any help or explanation on how to do this would be an absolute complete help to me.
Again I need UU-Matter = Not making the recipes that it makes. Except for iridium ore.
Thanks in advance.

First, I'm not trying to be a smart ass.
I thought you didn't understand the error because of all those color codes.
You should've told me that you knew that the error was wrong and there can't be another recipe like that in your server, I would've replied diferently then, but I had to make sure you don't have what the error is suggesting.
But still you ignored the tip there, which said to add the @override flag, and that would be your solution... unless you already tried that, which again, I have no way of knowing.
I've tested with your recipe and I don't get that error, so the recipe is actually added by some other plugin or mod.
Also, about colors, the server args was the 2nd option, you can disable the colors in the plugin's config.yml.
@Lyricksback
Oh, no they're not in any way external, the vanilla recipes are hardcoded inside the code, I don't know about mod recipes tough.
However, the client mod's author could make a bukkit plugin which sends the server recipes to the client mod.

Thank you for explanation. I always thought current recipes are stored in some file (or database) and then recipe mods just read them from there. Now I understand why it is not possible.
Good luck getting your recipe books done.

I was simply asking for some help from other experienced users of your plugin.
1.Some of us do not have access to edit our start up arguments (but thanks for pointing that out!)
2. I read the error yes, no the craft recipe is not in the game nor has it been added by another plugin/mod
3. If you want people to use your plugin perhaps not being a smart ass would help
4. But yeah thanks for not helping me understand the problem, and yeah I will pass on the donate button instead I will flame just like you

Did you even read that "error" ? It's plain english mind you... but here, without the color codes:
I really don't know how else I can rephrase that :/
Also, you really should either disable the colors from the plugin or disable log from being written with colors by adding -log-strip-color=true at the end of your server startup arguments.

@minlevel: 5 works just fine for me, I just tested it with the latest released version and the exact recipe you posted, axe recipe with stone instead of cobblestone, I can't make it if I'm under level 5 and I can make it being level 5 or higher.
Use code tags next time tough, that recipe is printing kinda confusing :P
@Lyricksback
Not really because they most likely have the recipe list hardcoded in them, I don't think the server transfers that list to the client so there's no real way of the client mod to know the recipes unless it somehow recieves them.
Books should be something clickable and nice for users tough :}

OK, great to know. And yea, I was talking about client mods, none of them that could possibly be compatible with your plugin and dynamically show latest list of recipes in user friendly output?
I mean, alternative option for people that don't like to type commands in chat line - my girlfriend being prime example - if it can't be clicked, it's broken...

I am working on a feature that allows the plugin to generate written books which you can give to players to see the recipes.
But no, adding a totally new GUI is not possible as-is, it needs client mods to achieve that.
@slimpyman
So where's the problem ? Does that happen when the result shouldn't be retrieved or what ? Provide more details, the recipe as well because there may be some glitches with certain recipes.
Also I doubt that 'chunk load event=true' is even relevant to that :}

Posted Sep 2, 2012Im not sure, but with chunkloadevents to true, if youre crafting something, and as youre about to click and pull the item, if you open your inventory at the exact same moment, you drop the item, and it stays on your person.
just saying :)

Posted Sep 1, 2012This seems very interesting!
I have a question though - is there any way to make this work with some kind of client GUI (while not requiring), so people could list all current recipes similar to this: http://www.minecraftmine.org/recipe-book-mod/
?
