This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of Minecraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.

Overview

RageParticleEffects allows players to play particle effects! This plugin is good for donation perks. Currently with 17 effects and counting!

Metrics

In RageParticleEffects v1.1 I have added Metrics you have the option to opt-out of this in the plugin metrics folder just set opt-out to true if you do not want the following info collected:

A unique identifier
The server's version of Java
Whether the server is in offline or online mode
The plugin's version
The server's version
The OS version/name and architecture
The core count for the CPU
The number of players online
The Metrics version

Updater

In RageParticleEffects v2.0 I have added an updater that automatically updates this plugin, if you do not want it to auto update just set auto-update in the plugins config to false.

Permissions

peffect.use - Allows use of the /peffect command
peffect.use.<effect> - Allows use of certain effects (Effect permissions match the /peffect list names)
peffect.use.list - Allows use of the /peffect list command
peffect.use.admin - Allows use of /peffect check <player> and /peffect forcestop
peffect.use.menu - Allows use of /peffect menu command
peffect.use.stop - Allows use of /peffect stop command (Usage: /peffect stop <effect> or /peffect stop all).

Aww, kind of a shame that this plugin is abandoned. I hope someone takes over it. I really liked this plugin compared to the other particle effect plugins.

And even though it's abandoned, I have a bit of a problem. I updated my server to Spigot 1.8 (protocol patch), and only fireworks and potions work. The rest just do nothing. Is anyone having issues on Spigot 1.8 with this plugin?

So i downloaded the plugin but when i do /peffect menu it doesnt show the blocks, it only shows paper, and it only has 13 particles available. Thanks :)

When I turn on any of the effects they do not work and instead I got an error in my console showing up every second until the effect will not be turned off.

Yeah those vids show the old version when you could play all the effects, but now i added a config option that allows you to limit it to 1 :)

I just realized this plugin has changed a lot... ( a lot different then the video shown...)

Looks like a awesome Plugin, but any way to limit players to only 1 effect at a time? I dont want them all to put on all of them... can you say lag? Thanks

Please update your plugin for 1.7.2 because i've a server in 1.7.2 and the plugin in 1.7.9 don't work at 100%

I'm working on it just having a few problems with it at the moment sorry.

EDIT: Just uploaded v2.2 you can now choose if the effects can be played one at a time or all effects can be played at once. I'll work on making it possible to choose how many effects can be played at once.

I could see my donors using all of the particles at once, any ETA on when it will have the option to limit it to one at a time?

Cool plugin, but i think the efffects happen to fast? maybe make it so the effect goes off what you move, or if u are standing still it goes every 5secs
