Quester

Quester is highly customizable plugin handling all kinds of quests. From simple "gather to get reward" quests, to complicated forked story-telling quests. What is even better, everything is customizable on-the-fly directly in game ! No more restarting/reloading your server every time to change something. Localizable messages, plenty of different, highly-customizable objectives, conditions, events and flags. NPC and sign support. All this together creates almost unlimited possibilities.

There is also "quest location". Command is /q location set {location}. Look into quest documentation.

No, but you can set quest location to where they appear for the first time.

Exactly ! It Makes it possible to assign same holder to multiple NPCs and then any change of that holder will affect all of them.
But as a side effect of that, each holder tracks its current selected quest. So when one holder is assigned to 2 npcs and you left click one of them, quest will cycle for both. It is not a major issue when NPCs are not frequently used, but if yes, it is actually better to create holder for each NPC.
Holders are also manageable via commands, which makes it much easier, since you don't have to select quest and click each of the NPCs all the time.
It will also make it possible to easily access holders from whitin denizen scripts, as they are centralized now.
@externo6
You need to update your java to run Quester. It requires java 7. I will change that back to 6 with next release.

Posted Sep 16, 2012Hm i don't really understand the new holder system.
Is it like a group where quests are stored in with certain ids?
Like if i have 2 holders one with 2 quests and another with 5 then for holder 1 there is quest with id 1 and 2 and for holder 2 there is quest with id 1,2,3,4,5?

Hello !
Read about required permission above and about adding quest to sign/npc in commands page. If you want to use newest dev version, read about it in dev changelog.
