Quester

Quester is highly customizable plugin handling all kinds of quests. From simple "gather to get reward" quests, to complicated forked story-telling quests. What is even better, everything is customizable on-the-fly directly in game ! No more restarting/reloading your server every time to change something. Localizable messages, plenty of different, highly-customizable objectives, conditions, events and flags. NPC and sign support. All this together creates almost unlimited possibilities.
Found a bug? Have a suggestion? Sumbit a ticket.
Don't forget to specify Quester version you are using and label the ticket appropriately. Tickets without label will take longer to review or be ignored completely.
Latest DEV version should be working with recent minecraft versions. See dev builds.

I may add config option to turn off OP permissions, or even ability to choose them.

There is no questnot in 0.7 anymore. Use inverted quest condition:
/q condition add questnot "Baby thief" -i

Posted Jun 26, 2013Hey Im using 0.7 alpha and for some reason my condition questnot wont work for example I want /q condition add questnot Baby thief - and players are still able to repeat the quest. I even try /q condition add questnot 'Baby thief' and /q condition add questnot "Baby thief"

Thank you, that helped me as well Is it possible to configure the plugin in way so that OPs do NOT ignore conditions? Or will I have to make a new permissions group and give them "all permissions" so that they are practically OPs but not theoretically? To be honest I would prefer the first option but if that's not possible, then I will just have to make a new permissions group ;-)

I am writing "questnot T:86400 quest1", but quest1 still takes immediately after his complite... sorry for my english, not my language

Yes, the name was changed from flag to modifier. You should be able to find it in /q help. I think it's /q mod or /q modifier now.

Try "/q objective add action click any any block". There are 3 special locations, here - your current location; block - the block you are looking at; player - no specific location, location of the player that is currently on the quest (used in events).
Same applies to all events. I might add support for offline players once, you should be careful with delay until then.

Posted Jun 22, 20130.7 (latest build) - I think I have found a bug, or i'm just a moron and I can't configure quester properly :D
I have created an objective by command: /q objective add action click any any here
I was pointing at some bookshelf then. But when I perform the quest and I click the same block(when I have this objective active, ofc), nothing happens. Sometimes it gets completed, when I hit some other block (quite far from there) or... an NPC... o.O
And one more question... Could you please make make delayed event 'TELE' changing saved position of player, if he is offline? What I mean is that players at the moment can cheat with this - if they disconnect after an 'event occasion' , the delayed 'TELE' event will do nothing to them... :C

It's not an error. You are trying to hit NPC or sign to get new quest, but holder is trying to complete your current quest first, because completing a quest has higher priority than starting a new one. To avoid that, simply hold shift while right clicking NPC to force him to give you new quest.

Check the number in config. 0 does not mean unlimited. Then check /q quests in game.
