OtherDrops

Make anything drop anything, anyhow!
Minecraft 1.7 features (click)!!
OtherDrops allows you to add anything from a simple "glass drops glass" or mob rewards, to a complex overhaul of your servers drops with drops differing depending on tools, biome, time, weather and much more, along with custom messages, actions and commands.
OtherDrops is lightweight* (it only acts on what you configure) and respects most protection plugins (eg. WorldGuard, Regios) settings. Many examples are included that you can enable and/or customize as you wish.

Help Wanted
Would you like to help improve OtherDrops? Here are some ways to get involved:
- Media/art: OtherDrops could really do with some tutorial and example videos.
- Testers: Testers who are able to go through the plugin and rigorously check that things (both existing and new features) work as they should. PM Zarius your Skype (or other IM) details if you're interested or jump on the IRC channel.
- Programming: any assistance is welcomed - see the todo list here for some ideas. Anyone with refactoring and/or automated testing experience that wants to assist would be great.
Thanks
Many thanks to these people who helped with OtherDrops:
- Cyklo: creator of the original OtherBlocks. OtherDrops is a continuation of Cyklo's original OtherBlocks (2011) plugin.
- Celtic Minstrel: many code commits and a major overhaul of the code moving into version 2.0. Moved on to create DropFactory.
- Rofang: major update of OtherDrops documentation.
- RugRats13: lots of testing and some documentation.
- Faldonboy & Steelsouls: currently maintaining and improving the documentation.
- CommodoreAlpha: community support on the comments/forum, assisting with documentation.
Many long nights are spent improving OtherDrops so if you like it please consider a donation to my coffee fund :)
- OtherDrops uses Metrics for anonymous usage stats (learn more).

Does it actually set the hp over 110? I'll do some testing later.

Posted Mar 1, 2013Hrm, odd. Above default hp values work for all mobs EXCEPT dragons. Could it be because they're such a unique mob?
The dragon config doesn't work, the cow does. Example:
EDIT: I stand corrected, any mob with an hp value over 110 or so doesn't work.

Hmm, I can't see that the spaces would be a problem, otherwise his config wouldn't work at all (rather htan dropping the wheat).
But yeah, works fine here too - default (10h) cow drops just the apple and 25h cow drops just the wheat for me. What version (I assume latest?) Also, perhaps try putting the verbosity up to highest (in otherdrops-config,yml) and paste me any message?

It works fine for me. I did have to delete two spaces from each of your lines though. Perhaps that is the problem?

Even setting it to COW@10h and COW@25h the problem was still happening(10h is cows default) the cow with 25h was still not dropping anything in its drop list and was still dropping the items from the cow with 10h
Example:
Both of these cows drop the wheat and the cow with 10h doesn't drop apples. (tested with /odd cow@25h and cow@10h)

That's by design - the "ENDER_DRAGON" should match any type of ender dragon regardless of health, eq, etc. Eg. ZOMBIE = zombie baby or adult, any maxhealth. You can specificy ENDER_DRAGON@200 for the default health only.
You can use the minecraft wiki (or /od id mob) to find out normal max health. Not sure of a better way to work it at the moment.

Posted Mar 1, 2013Latest beta release seems to have broken using mobs with altered maxhp as targets. Their config is being read as if they don't have the maxhp setting(they're also dropping stuff from mobs that just use default hp in their configs).
In this example the wheat is NEVER dropped(tested using /odd cow@25h) but instead its dropping things from the normal cow drops. Example:
EDIT: Using /od id mob on the cow it shows (COW@!ADULT!!25h) so I tried changing my config to that and it still didn't help.

Odd that it doesn't have more to it. I'll assume it's the same as the bug here in which case it's fixed in 2.8b.89 :)

I thought you'd say that haha. As you can see in this post, I don't believe there is any more information to the error:

Hahahaha oh yes. Just made a LAVASLIME@50 and it's huuuge! Jumps above the clouds. Anything over 50 jumps so high it despawns in the sky, lol.
Out of curiosity for the sake of the docs (I just use otherdrops.admin.* personally), is there a separate permission for /od id mob?

Howdy and thanks for the compliment and the error report. The bottom of the error seems to be missing though and that's the bit that lets me see where the bug is. There should be a few lines after the " caused by null pointer exception" line, can you repost?

Thanks for all the constant updates, OtherDrops is just getting better and better. Thank again.
Also, I wanted to drop in and let you know what there is a little error when Disguisecraft is installed. Nothing major, likely an easy fix.

Command works, but if I try it in my config, nothing.
