Orebfuscator
Orebfuscator - Anti X-RAY:
For all releases of 1.9/1.9.1/1.9.2/1.9.4/1.10/1.11/1.12.x/1.13.x: Version 4.4.3
Now with support for CraftBukkit 1.9/1.9.1/1.9.2/1.9.4/1.10/1.11/1.12.x/1.13.x!
This plugin is used to counter X-RAY Client mods.
It modifies data that are sent to clients to hide blocks of your choice, such as Ore, chests, dungeons, etc.
It does not manipulate blocks in the world file, thus is safe to use.
ProximityHider is a feature that hides chests that are far from players.
As of 4.3.3, Proximity Hider has been enhanced to use line-of-sight checks, not just proximity! Upgrade today.

Latest version supports 1.5.2 too. Versions are always backwards compatible until 1.4.2.
Might be caused by Spigot if you have that instead of CraftBukkit. Still not sure why but it seems to happen a lot with Spigot and Orebfuscator together.

Posted Jul 9, 2013Lishig Hello, congratulations for the plugin.
You know how to solve this problem: "Internal exception: java.io.IOException: Bad compressed data format". Appears randomly disconnects and sometimes several players. NOTE: It happens to me too, so it's not because of hackers or mods installed.
I'm using version 1.9.3 Orebfuscator because my server is 1.5.2 thank you

That might be a little risky even without this plugin... I don't know how their server allocates CPU time either.
It'll really depend on your situations. If it gets laggy or slow, or out of memory exceptions, you'll need to reduce view-distance in server.properties.
As I've said before, Orebfuscator doesn't run on the main thread, so it does not impact TPS of the game. Memory wise, Orebfuscator is pretty conservative, and I've tried even to save some memory by optimizing some minecraft code. Caching might use some memory, but if it's giving you trouble, you can disable it.

It depends on your number of players and your view-distance, but it looks ok. Orebfuscator doesn't run on the main thread so it does not lag the server anyway.

Hello lishid, thanks for the awesome plugin!
Do you think its lag-free / bug-free to install this plugin on my faction server with 22 plugins ish? My host is Redstonehost > Adventure Tier (3.6 GB dedi RAM) + (5GB burst ram)probably higher soon. I don't want those XRayers in my server and ruin the eco.
What do you suggest me?

For the specifics of the problem:
CraftBukkit's update seems to have had a tiny diff problem, resulting in this line: https://github.com/Bukkit/CraftBukkit/blob/master/src/main/java/net/minecraft/server/PlayerChunk.java#L127
This causes single block updates to send out a full chunk (Orebfuscator will capture and obfuscate this) instead of an actual single block update. I've contacted the bukkit team, and they are on their way to fix it.
Wait until it has been patched in CB. I will advise the version of CB it will be patched once they release it.

This is an issue with CraftBukkit. They screwed up a line in their block update code.
