Orebfuscator
Orebfuscator - Anti X-RAY:
For all releases of 1.9/1.9.1/1.9.2/1.9.4/1.10/1.11/1.12.x/1.13.x: Version 4.4.3
Now with support for CraftBukkit 1.9/1.9.1/1.9.2/1.9.4/1.10/1.11/1.12.x/1.13.x!
This plugin is used to counter X-RAY Client mods.
It modifies data that are sent to clients to hide blocks of your choice, such as Ore, chests, dungeons, etc.
It does not manipulate blocks in the world file, thus is safe to use.
ProximityHider is a feature that hides chests that are far from players.
As of 4.3.3, Proximity Hider has been enhanced to use line-of-sight checks, not just proximity! Upgrade today.

You can disable it if there's no need. Compression level should be at least 1, but not too high. Usually 1 is enough.
Your startup script is marking the use if different types of GC. You need to only give it one though.

It does, but is less effective than the plugin version. Though for now it will have to do.

Spigot has built in Orebfuscator functionality. Go into the bukkit.yml and scroll down to the bottom.

Hmm actually, I patched this a while ago... Might be from an older version but it should never happen again.

It only happens when the chunks further down are not loaded, causing orebfuscator to not be able to determine whether there are blocks around or not. I will fix this behavious in the next version.
@pacnik123
Something to do with spigot, i'm not sure. Is ProtocolLib installed?
@Siickest
Should be ok.
@dotapurex1
CPU? It is when you load new chunks that were not cached, and if your view-distance is very high. But this does not impact the main CPU core that Minecraft runs on, so it has no impact on the game except for using up some idle cores that will not be useful anyway.
@x_clucky
Hmm that is interesting. I haven't seen it personally yet, lemme try that on a test server.

This plugin isn't as RAM intensive as it is CPU intensive. However, this plugin is not as resource-intensive as most think. One recommendation I do have for you though, is to use engine mode 1.

Yes, many regions do look like that. However, some parts are unprotected. Maybe because of the factions plugin? Or it was misconfigured. Regular xray was obstructed on the server. Or maybe it was in an old version.

Nope that does not work, here's what you see when you fly off to the side of loaded chunks on a properly configured Orebfuscator server. http://i.imgur.com/kuUrEte.png

How to still see ores: (works on one server with orebfuscator at least)
1. get nodus
2. go into freecam and fly mode
3. fly off of the loaded chunk so you can see the side
4. fly next to an ore and write down the coordinates
5. mine there with real player

That's normal. Map exploration means map generation which means more chunks are generated and loaded into memory.
@emfjop
There's either a plugin interfering with Orebfuscator's sending algorithm or your server's fault. Try getting ProtocolLib plugin and see if it helps.

I have noticed high (>3GB with only 4 players) memory usage if people are exploring the map. It's not a memory leak because the if the people stop exploring the map the memory usage went down to a normal level.
