Orebfuscator
Orebfuscator - Anti X-RAY:
For all releases of 1.9/1.9.1/1.9.2/1.9.4/1.10/1.11/1.12.x/1.13.x: Version 4.4.3
Now with support for CraftBukkit 1.9/1.9.1/1.9.2/1.9.4/1.10/1.11/1.12.x/1.13.x!
This plugin is used to counter X-RAY Client mods.
It modifies data that are sent to clients to hide blocks of your choice, such as Ore, chests, dungeons, etc.
It does not manipulate blocks in the world file, thus is safe to use.
ProximityHider is a feature that hides chests that are far from players.
As of 4.3.3, Proximity Hider has been enhanced to use line-of-sight checks, not just proximity! Upgrade today.

Spigot's performance boost isn't as much as Orebfuscator plugin's if you configure it well. Also, ProximityHider relies on the core feature, which means you'll have to use Orebfuscator plugin's core and not spigot's core.

Posted May 21, 2013If I am using spigot but want proximity hider, can I use spigot for most of it for the improved performance and then just use proximity hider from the plugin?
Would that work, and would it actually be better?

You can disable all other worlds with command "/ofc disable world <worldname>"
@mormaii2
if you had 400MB/s, then there's nothing to worry about... Normal ethernet is like 100MB/s...

I mean a 400MB/s Connection. Don't know if that's the correct word in english. And how does compression affect players? What is the advantage of it? Like what would be the difference player wise if I set it to 9 or 1?

Hmm maybe some other plugin is causing this then... Try disabling cache, that's the last think I can tell you to try.

400MB bandwidth... there's a bandwidth limit? wow... Engine 1 uses less bandwidth than 2 if that's what you're asking for, but offers much less protection.
Compression means what level of compression the server should use on chunk packets. The larger the number, the smaller the packet being sent. That being said, the larger the number, the more CPU it takes to process each packet, meaning that at one point it may lag your server if you pushed it too high. It's a number between 1 and 9.

Lite is long gone though, it's not much of an improvement, and you can achieve the same performance by disabling features in Orebfuscator. The major thing is ProximityHider and view-distance though. Disable ProximityHider and reduce view-distance helps.

Since you're purchasing a certain amount of RAM usage, there is no way to dedicate more to your server without upgrading your plan with your host. Deleting plugins may help or, like lishid said earlier, lower your view distance in the server.properties file.
EDIT: If you would like to try it, use Orebfuscator Lite instead. Should be less resource demanding.

Im using a server host. IS there any way I can do this without upgrading?
Would deleting plugins etc. help? or what would I need to do?

Changing your .bat or .sh file. Like: Where is "-Xmx1G"
You put "-Xmx[RAM]G" (see how much RAM you can use and then change the value of [RAM], save, and restart your server)
(example, I am using 1GB on my server, but I have 6 on my PC, use 4 for your server.)

Posted May 16, 2013Hi there. I've been getting this error when any player joins. I've been getting it on 1.9.2 and 1.9.3 (waited for an update before I posted it) and am using Spoutplugin, Spoutcraft, and Spigot instead of CB, all for 1.5.2. If you need the specific versions, let me know. If you think it's a plugin causing it, I will try to narrow it down, but will wait until I hear back from you. Thanks for the great plugin and I hope you can decipher something from this! :)

Out of memory. Give java more memory or reduce view-distance in your server.properties file.
