Orebfuscator
Orebfuscator - Anti X-RAY:
For all releases of 1.9/1.9.1/1.9.2/1.9.4/1.10/1.11/1.12.x/1.13.x: Version 4.4.3
Now with support for CraftBukkit 1.9/1.9.1/1.9.2/1.9.4/1.10/1.11/1.12.x/1.13.x!
This plugin is used to counter X-RAY Client mods.
It modifies data that are sent to clients to hide blocks of your choice, such as Ore, chests, dungeons, etc.
It does not manipulate blocks in the world file, thus is safe to use.
ProximityHider is a feature that hides chests that are far from players.
As of 4.3.3, Proximity Hider has been enhanced to use line-of-sight checks, not just proximity! Upgrade today.

Either update ProtocolLib plugin or wait until it has been updated for the version of Spigot you're using.

you can change the plugin.yml's depends to add WorldGuard if it's not already in it. Check out bukkit's specification on plugin.yml about that

Yeah I don't think it has something to do with your plugin. It seems for certain plugins they someone change the order of how plugins load. Without orebfuscator world guard regions load before SRM loads.. but with it SRM loads before world guard and can't find the regions.
Thanks.. going to see if I can force it to delay the load. (Already set to load at POSTWORLD)

Orebfuscator shouldn't be touching real world data at all (the closest is to read block data, but not actually altering anything). Everything is done after Minecraft creates a copy of a chunk (as a byte array inside a packet) ready to be sent to a player, where Orebfuscator picks up the copy and performs modifications on it before being sent to the player.
Otherwise, I don't see why it could cause a config reset, unless if Bukkit has some issues with conflicting configuration files, which I doubt.

The plugin isn't getting much support and I agree it's a very odd conflict. I'm just tinkering and looking through the code myself. I'll try to see if I can somehow figure out more.
Could it be that orebfuscator somehow alters the signs? Perhaps the plugin is loading the config and then loading the chunks to scan for the signs, but not able to find them or having issues if orebfuscator has changed something?

Hmm that's an interesting incompatibility... Configuration files should be completely isolated from other plugins... I'm not too familiar with how SimpleRegionMarket's configuration code works, though maybe you could ask the author if there's anything could trigger a config reset?

Posted Apr 9, 2013Hi lishid I'm having some compatibility issues with another plugin and was wondering if you could share some insight. The plugin I am trying to use is SimpleRegionMarket which works fine when orebfuscator isn't running. When I allow the server to load with orebfuscator SimpleRegionMarket cannot load the configs properly.
It uses signs in order to rent regions - the configs get reset on reboot only when orebfuscator is around. This worked well in 1.4.7 and not much of the SRM code changed.
Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Posted Apr 9, 2013A configuration guide (like this one http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/antixray/pages/cpu-configurations/) would be helpful for organization and for noobs, instead of separating into pages on github (just a tip, its easier to understand)

Somewhat, but it does not impact the server as long as you have more than 1 core on your CPU (which most CPUs have anyways) as it does not run on the main thread.
