Orebfuscator
Orebfuscator - Anti X-RAY:
For all releases of 1.9/1.9.1/1.9.2/1.9.4/1.10/1.11/1.12.x/1.13.x: Version 4.4.3
Now with support for CraftBukkit 1.9/1.9.1/1.9.2/1.9.4/1.10/1.11/1.12.x/1.13.x!
This plugin is used to counter X-RAY Client mods.
It modifies data that are sent to clients to hide blocks of your choice, such as Ore, chests, dungeons, etc.
It does not manipulate blocks in the world file, thus is safe to use.
ProximityHider is a feature that hides chests that are far from players.
As of 4.3.3, Proximity Hider has been enhanced to use line-of-sight checks, not just proximity! Upgrade today.

Posted Feb 9, 2012I have the initial radius set to 0 and the engine mode is at 1. I have also removed -54 from the orebfuscator list but it seems that some chests show up as ore, is there a workaround for that ? Once you break the block it shows up as a chest again.

Posted Feb 8, 2012I am positive the people reporting this are not hacking as I too am experiencing fake ore issues on the sides of mountains, etc. It does not appear to happen when in caves though...
I tried clearing cache too, doesn't seem to help at all.
Thank you!

It's a mode that outputs many debugging information that I use sometimes on my test server.
I'm not sure how that could be caused. Do you have other plugin that changes world coordinates?
@LordONoobs
First, how did you know that some users have been able to bypass it?
Here are things you should note: X-ray texture packs can only be fought against with InitialRadius=0 and Enginemode=1, although you will not see ore normally until you touch a block. X-ray mods will always fail against this plugin.

Posted Feb 8, 2012Greetings lishid. Thank you for creating such a convenient solution to most xray problems. Unfortunately, some users have able to bypass it through the use of some specialized texture packs and mods. I will link these in the hopes that you may find a solution to them.
http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/158611-16x11-strongestcraft-the-best-x-ray-texture-pack-updated-2-4-2012/
No link for the xray mod, but supposedly it's called "minecraft_xray_3.5.1"
Ore obfuscation was used with default settings.

Posted Feb 8, 2012Are there any known incompatibilities with this plugin? :3 Could you add a debug option or something like it so I can try to fix the problem?
Side-note: What's verbose mode? I tried looking it up on the wiki, but I couldn't find the description for it.

Nevermind, it keeps doing it even when cache is disabled :/ I had to take off the plugin for now :'(
The strange part is that it's only parts of spawn that keep reoccurring in the world. I don't know why it is only using parts of spawn and not any other chunks from the world.

The processing is done on a separate thread. Unless you have a single core CPU, it shouldn't lag at all even if it's processing a lot.

I thought cache reduces cpu usage O_o Wouldn't that reduce lag?

I'm not sure what's causing it. Caching shouldn't help with block lag anyways...
see what the lag is caused by (test your server TPS, internet, client)
You can also try to use Chunkster to see if it fixes stuff
@Puremin0rez
First, ensure they are not hackers. Then, you should try /ofc clearcache If that does not help, come back on the thread.
@Fluxty
Print screen to compare, if they are exactly the same, then you probably did not fully disable no-obfuscation for yourself.
Try using /ofc disable commands ingame to disable op and perms.
Also, you need to logout/login to see the effects of the change.

Posted Feb 7, 2012I have orbfuscator with 2 set as both update and initial radius. The X-ray I'm testing on my server is http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/639823-11x-ray-n-dtdb/ .
I have set NoObfuscate for ops to false as well as permissions. I even de-opped myself to test this. All the blocks till show up the exact same and I'm on engine 1. Nothing is hidden.
I also have the SpoutPlugin.

Posted Feb 7, 2012I currently have my initialradius set to 2 and my updateradius set to 2, and my users are still seeing fake ores (usually above underground, sides of mountains, etc)
What should I increase this too?

But then the block lag becomes frequent and unbearable :/ Would a corrupt chunk possibly cause it?

Posted Feb 6, 2012It's still happening. I see chunks from spawn appearing in other chunks. I can fix it if I use world edit and do the command chunk, set dirt, undo. The only thing is that it happens a lot (not everywhere, but when it does happen, it's noticed). Here is the exact error:
[Orebfuscator] Error reading Orebfuscator Chunk cache hash: incorrect data check.
Not really sure how to help debug this, sorry :3
